Arians should be fired on the spot.

They were losing. Take as many chances at the win as you can eek out of the click with a time out. If tied kick the ball. They were losing. They had two chances for a TD.

Three chances to win the game and the Bucs say fuck it we are good with one instead. Malpractice.

I agree. He played for the kick. But, his QB has shown a penchant for throwing INTs, so it's a tough call. They had the TO, so technically they could have at least tried a run. Keep the Giants Defense on the field.

DIdn't see the game, but an NFL kicker should make a 34 yard FG. Now the (intentional?) DoG makes no sense.

I think you try the fade then the run and then time out and kick the ball. If you are going to play for the kick then kick right away and save your time out in case of a bad snap and give yourself an onside kick chance and a miracle play if you miss the kick.

Delay of game then time out to leave zero time is just really terrible. He played it like it was tied and OT was guaranteed.

The Giants defense was gassed, on their heels, and rattled. Leaving it to the kicker doesn't make sense when you have enough time AND a time out. Because kickers.

You keep that crappy defense on the field and try to win the game and if you fail, the kicker goes in. Instead, Winston took a dog and kneeled.

But sometimes they don’t. Should has nothing to do with it. Play the game to give yourselves multiple chances to win.

Arians mismanaged the whole fourth quarter. 7 straight runs at one point up by 3. They played like the Giants could never get a TD. Winston had 300 yards in the first half and he took the ball out of his hands for 28 minutes.

I don’t know why I care. I don’t care about either team but awful coaching just really annoys the shit out of me. They demand so much from the players and then they don’t hold up their end in the clutch.

This makes a lot of sense. Especially with a guy like Arians who has a habit of publicly throwing his players under the bus.

Eli zero 18 point comebacks in his whole career. Jones in his first game.

But HoF.
Yeah, whichever of the Barbers was in the booth should be getting a check after this game from the Manning family. I saw about 5 minutes of it and heard him call Eli a "legend" and say that Eli always brought the Giants back from deficits. It would've been embarrassingly obsequious for a good quarterback. For Eli?!

Winston might be erratic, but Evans is 6’5 with magic hands and is a premier red zone target who was having a monster game. You’re right that everything in that situation screamed take a shot.

Here
Bruce Arians says he took the delay penalty on purpose in final minute, thinking Matt Gay was better from a longer distance.
He might be the biggest idiot in football, and that’s no small thing.

Wonder when the announcers etc will come around on the fact that the Rams O is not high flying. Week 13 maybe.

Decent chance the Giants are 3-2 when they come here for TNF (home games against Washington and Minnesota).

Not really seeing them winning both games. Especially the Vikings game. This isn’t a very good team despite them winning today on missed 34 yard field goal.

Cleveland’s offense should be a lot better than it is
I think Baker is doing too much in an effort to get OBJ the ball. He's waiting out routes that are taking too long, while passing up easier throws to guys like Landry and Njoku, etc.
