The Cowboys of last year and 2014 would run out the clock here running it. But the line has been pushed around for the most part tonight so it's probably up to Dak to try and score a TD here to put it away.
Well I guess both Dak and the running game produced there.

Is the Arizona line this bad or is the Dallas defensive line starting to show some teeth in the pass rush? At least when it comes to obvious passing situations.

Veldheer at RT is awful but to Lawrence's credit he's taken advantage.

Really bad drive by the Dallas secondary. Prob won't matter but shows the importance of not relying on them at the end of the game.

It does look like Lawrence is legit though.

Meh, the only real dumb thing was throwing the ball in the field of play on third down. I don't see another point where it was clearly right to kick. Even on 4th down there its probably close.

If you bet the over you wanted him to kick very badly

He wasted a crucial TO on an awful challenge, and blew through a shitload of time on that last drive. Needed an onside kick no matter what. Brutal game management.

The challenge was obviously dumb, agreed, but I was just talking about the last drive itself.

Last drive was mostly fine until they threw the third down pass in bounds. I thought the mistake were both Palmers: not getting a play off after the sack before the two minute warning and taking a FG off the table by throwing the ball in bounds on third down (although from the 2 at that point going might be better anyways). I disagree with Gruden, there wasn't a need to kick earlier. Cards moved the ball well until they got to goal to go outside of the one sack. If they scored with 50 seconds left there was plenty of time to onside kick and kick a field goal if they converted the two pointer. Scoring the TD first also would mean the Cards know whether they made the 2 pointer before the last possession so they'd know for certain if a FG was useful.

How much of not going for the FG was Arians not trusting Dawson, I wonder? I know the FG he missed likely would have been blocked had he not pushed it right but you've got to feel a little gun shy after having to go so far as to bring in a 42 year-old kicker because your special teams are such garbage. It's all academic but I bet he preferred to go for the TD to ensure a potential missed FG would at least be for the tie, rather than to set up the Hail Mary scenario.

Right before going to bed last night I read a blurb on ESPN.com that Palmer yesterday became the 4th QB to throw 100 TDs with 2 different teams.

This should be relatively easy but I can't for the life of me figure out the other 3. Yes, I could check but thought I'd throw it out here.

Some possibilities, but none are easy, at least to me: Testaverde (Browns and Jets?), Brad Johnson (Vikings and Bucs?), Randall Cunningham (Philly and Vikings?), Plunkett ? Pretty sure Peyton didn't get to 100 with Denver. Maybe Montana with KC. I must be missing somebody obvious but I can't think of any others.

Peyton had 140 in Denver
