Concur re the kit.

FYI I’ve given up social media for lent. This is my only visit to SoSH until Easter. Just a note that you already know what I would be saying at every juncture of the Merseyside derby and you can deem me to have said it.

SOSH isn’t social media. It’s a forum for adults to discuss sports, politics, and life with the goal of improving the self.

And to agree the Citeh is an illegitimate club that breaks FFP into little pieces and should be banned.

I watch a lot of neutral matches although admittedly less since Var has ruined football.

i am not brave enough to watch WBA v Burnley

if you're a LFC fan and realize you likely don't make top 4 this season despite how absolutely mediocre ManU, Leicester, Chelsea et al truly are it is sickening

I think Chelsea are going to be looking at a lot of player unrest going forward. And I can’t imagine what Abramovich is thinking after spending all that money last summer on players that are, at best bit players.

edit: Abramovich probably won’t care as long as they keep winning. But Tuchel obviously has “his guys” and if you’re not one of them you’re not going to be too happy. Ben Chilwell looked to be the signing of the season and now he’s rotting on the bench behind the corpse of Marcus Alonso. Ziyech looked terrific and he’s on the bench. Havertz ? Given his unavailability through most of the season he’d need a good run of games - which he’s not going to get. If Chelsea dont make it to the CL spots (and I don’t think they will) I think Tuchel gets the axe and a new manager cleans up the roster.

Not to mention, he brought on Hudson-Odoi at halftime today and yanked him off after 80 minutes, then threw him under the bus in the post-match press conference.

This game looks like under 10's quail ball. Both teams on one side of the field. The"wide" player is on the far edge of the center circle.

My prediction for the Derby... Richarlison goes in one on one with Allison. He’s offside, but the flag stays down. He knocks the ball wide. Allison goes for it but pulls back. Richarlison goes down without contact and gets a yellow. It goes to VAR, where they determine by micro analysis of blades of grass that Allison’s breeze knocked Richarlison over. Yellow card is overturned, Allison is sent off, Everton get a penalty, and Pickford nods approvingly.

Liverpool picking up where they left off in the Premier League. Down 1-0 already. Kabak watches the ball instead of Richardlison.

Kabak was put in that position by Thiago really. I couldn't figure out why the throw-in went back to Holgate after he chucked it out just prior, but the midfield suffering with Henderson's move to the backline continues

Burnley 0-0 West Brom was the most predictable scoreline ever.

Everton may have scored too early.

Doucoure is usually so good but he’s having a mare out there just trying to dribble

the wind must really be something else because I can’t remember the last time i saw so many professional players misjudge headers and we are only 15 minutes in

Only the elite have joined Liverpool and immediately flourished. It takes time for mere mortal talent to acclimate, if they do at all.

Kabak is not at Matip or Gomez’s level, just joined a new team in a new league in a new country, and is playing alongside a central midfielder and two wingers. I feel bad for the guy.

Also I think the focus on Kabak there is only because he’s a question mark. That was a really intelligent pass and it’s probably as much in the midfield for giving enough time for him to see it as the Cb for not marking the run a little better. A better CB probably deals with it but the quality of the ball was such that it’s probably something even Van Dijk is extending to the limits of his ability to snuff it out

Kabak has been making just fundamental mistakes. It’s bad.
I have been surprised at the expectations of a guy that a 2. Bundesliga-bound squad was willing to let go in January without an obligation to buy... he's a warm body IMO, a young one but not a guy to rely on once Liverpool are past this injury crisis

you guys are too kind. It’s not as if he’s being pushed off the ball, getting beaten by world class technique, or he’s confused about the tactics. Twice now he’s ball watched and lost his man leading to a goal.

NBC? I never thought I'd say I'm lucky to have Martin Tyler on a Sky Sports feed
yes. It drove me nuts last year when we’d get 10 minute soliloquies every match about Liverpool’s greatness last year. I have no idea why they do it it is so grating for the people actually watching
