there were 5 guys between him and the end zone and none even came close to getting a hand on him. That's just awful defense, bad angles galore

At least BAL can point to injuries. This is the full strength KC defense. It's gonna be a problem all year

Just wanted to pop in to say that after surveying the weeks action beyond the games I saw today, Tom Brady is murdering my heart where it sits in my chest. Hope everyone is having a swell weekend.

I’m still trying to figure out the jump throw - why did he run into line and then leap and throw? Brown was wide open - why not just throw it?

I think he was going to run it, then took a look up and realized he'd missed the wide open guy?

For some reason the 350+ pound nose tackle #71 was the closest guy to Kelce when he caught the ball, and he was also the guy who was tackling him at the goal line. Did the rest of the defense just give up?

No, they just turned the wrong way and then fell down. Every one of them.

The utter giddiness of the announcers is kind of annoying. This game is just as sloppy and bad as if it were 0-0, but the sloppiness is on the defensive side, not the offense. This is basically the NFL's wet dream though, just flashy "big plays" down the field over and over.

/end old man rant

I see Mahomes has been studying some Mac tape on throwing the ball while being tackled

There were so many missed tackles Kelce looked like Damien Harris on that play.
