Still insane to me that he was a free agent 18 months ago and only 2, maybe 3 teams showed interest.
His age held a lot of teams back.

I will admit, I am amazed Brady is playing at this level at this age. And Tom Brady is my favorite athlete of all time.

If he's still playing like this in another year or two, then he goes beyond being the GOAT of football to the GOAT of all sports, if he's not already there.
I think he's got it already. Going to TB and winning the SB at 43 cemented it.

It's so much harder in the NFL than it is in the NBA to be this successful.

I'd have to agree. He's been good to great for TWENTY F-ING YEARS in the NFL. He's working on his third " championship era" (assuming the Bucs win another one or two in his time). There are kids in college now who weren't born when he won his first championship.

I like that Seattle keeps it's team identity of being dirty pricks through all the personnel changes

It's 14-14 in the Dallas SD game with 5 minutes left in the third.

And the first punt of the game is now happening.

There was one angle from the back of the end zone where you could see Julio's heel messed up some of the white 'out of bounds' paint when it came down. I mean, I have Julio on my fantasy team but I thought that made it pretty clear it was incomplete.
Walt Anderson in NYC has been developing a rep for not overturning the call on the field. Either Walt was on a bathroom break or the footage was VERY conclusive.

Or, he has money on the game...

We can all agree that the rule on that catch is insane right?
If you get your toe down and nothing else... TD
If you get your toe down, then 99% of your sole.... no TD.

It is just a really bad rule.
The contrary rule would require the game to stop every time a player’s foot lands partially in bounds and partially out of bounds so someone can spend five minutes scrutinizing the 4K super slo-mo replay to determine which side of the player’s foot landed first. To say nothing of the random calls this would engender in the sport’s lower levels. Much better to keep it simple: foot out of bounds is out of bounds.

Mike Evans has his first injury of the season.

And Ronald Jones just blithely doesn't go for the first down. Whatevs, he says. And then he's short on 2nd.

Third down.
