Not sure I’ve ever seen a booth review of a spot before.
They're one week and change into the season and are going with way too many reviews letting the call on the field stand, the runner tripped and did not fall over anyone, that's a horrible non reversal.

I’m not sure it mattered. They picked up the 1st down the next play, and I doubt the clock will be a factor.
What if it had happened on 3rd or 4th down, and their drive stopped right there? It just made no sense.

Another blown NYC replay review. Funny how it helped the Giants.
Not in terms of impact (obviously), but in terms of incompetence, that is one of the worst booth reviews in history. That is just inexcusable.

Great uniforms, top tier announcers at least.

You’re more interested in Panthers/Texans next week?
Fair points, not really, but I will say I find the Darnold road to redemption/relevancy angle to the 2021 Panthers compelling.

So Colts added mid season huh?

when does the banner get raised?
Hoping this is Carson Wentz running around trying not to get sacked, set to the theme from Benny Hill.

Carson Wentz running around trying not to get the jab and avoiding close contact would work as well.

For sure. I think the question is whether you think the Texans are good enough to make that game compelling. The Texans looked good on Sunday, but it’s possible that the Urban Meyer Jags are historically awful.

It could be my lack of fantasy interest in this game talking but I'm honestly not sure there's a matchup in the NFL I'm less interested in than NYG-WFT. Shame to not at least have Fitz.
How about next weeks gem of Carolina/Houston?

The Giants are so screwed. Daniel Jones keeps flashing just enough potential to keep them from moving on.

That was a hell of a throw.

I don’t watch them enough to know if his shortcomings are the shitty coordinators he has had or on him.

Heinicke has drawn so many penalties by throwing the ball 50% slower than any other QB in the league.

What is the rationale for the Thursday night matchups always being so bad? I feel like I had heard that they have to be scheduled so far in advance that the league can’t pick the best matchups. But both these teams have been ass for a long time so that doesn’t really jibe for me.

In this case, these are two of the better drawing teams in the league in terms of TV ratings. Better to match them up on a Thursday early in the season before their records get bad.

The Thursday matchups are popular enough with gamblers and fantasy football.

Is Washington a draw? They have largely been mediocre or bad since 1993. Don’t see them on SNF much.

Well, I think SNF gets priority and then FOX and CBS get to protect at least one game every week. So the best three games of any week are automatically out. Then you have to factor in that no team can have more than one Thursday game a year, and it can’t be after a Monday night game. So I think the pickings get slim pretty quickly.

They might be two teams that have been ass for years, but this is a helluva game
