Interesting game tonight. Hard to believe that a team that lost 20-0 at home in week 1 is a 6 point favorite. I expect the Houston D to bounce back and completely shut down Cincy much like Baltimore did, and for Watson to perform adequately enough to lead the Texans to a W.

Decent slate of games for Boston this weekend.

Tonight:
8:25pm
Texans @ Bengals (This could be the season for either of these teams, but if 9-7 will win the AFC South -- likely? -- that's probably not the case)

1pm
CBS: Pats @ Saints
FOX: Vikings @ Steelers

4:25pm
FOX: Dallas @ Denver

8:30pm:
NBC: Packers @ Falcons

Monday
8:30pm:
ESPN: Lions @ Giants

Thursday night has a pretty good track record for games and given how well these 2 teams performed last week I am really excited for this...

Nice, crisp start to this game. Bungles pick up a block in the back, illegal hands to the face, and a false start on their first 4 plays.

Ok, we're in business now. Absent a turnover or two holdings, Houston looks like it should get a field goal and avoid a 0-0 tie.

This just in - AJ Green still really good

Was great juxtaposed against Collinsworth saying they need to go away from Green more.

There's a big difference between starting on the 16 and the 25, Chris? There's a difference, sure. But a big difference? Not tonight, Chris. Not tonight.

Oh goodie, Rams at 49ers next Thursday; we'll see if there are more players on the field than fans in the stands.

The NFL has a problem
Yes they do, they moved two teams to LA, one that can't sell out a 27,000 seat soccer stadium and another that's stuck in a shithole of a stadium for what, 3 years if I am not mistaken? They couldn't draw flies to that stadium last week.

And the 49ers; that stadium is almost an hour from San Francisco and is a sauna, whoever the moron is who did the planning really screwed the pooch, reminds me of the old outdoor stadium the Cardinals played at when they moved to Arizona.

Yup, they've got a problem, but fear not, Captain Smith in NY will guide the NFL ship through this rough patch around that iceberg dead ahead.
