Excellent TNF game tonight. The early slate on Sunday is abysmal. Wish Seattle/Arizona was the national game. And of course the rules insist we must watch the Dallas Cowboys every week. Heaven forbid they get flexed out of a national spot.

Pretty remarkable thinking about the Packers at 9-3.

From 1992-2007, they went 161-95 under Favre (.629)
They ditch Favre in 2008, then go 153-87 under Rodgers (.638)
They ditch Rodgers in 2023, and are now 18-11 under Love (.621)

Edit: and these three guys were drafted 33 (Favre), 24 (Rodgers), and 26 (Love)!

I'm not sure they ever would anyways, but The Simpsons broadcast of this made sure they weren't.

Also, I thought SNF had the flex option, but I just learned this year that TNF can get flexed too.

But yeah, this was all because of The Simpsons broadcast.

Not if you're in fantasy and need to win to get into the playoffs. The 1pm slate is glorious!

Although I do agree about Dallas. Jesus christ they have had 50 island games this year.

I am jacked and pump for this game tonight! On one hand, I think that the Lions are a juggernaut. But on the other, they are missing some bodies and the Packers are coming in playing good ball and highly motivated.

Who ya got tonight?

Packers, because fuck Rodgers and the worse he looks the more they win without him

I'll be rooting for Detroit, I like what Campbell is doing and they are fun to watch.

That said, I have no idea who is going to win. The Lions look like the best team in football but their defense is also decimated by injury. The first Packers game, Love was clearly dealing with an injury. They've had the bye and he has looked a lot better so GB seems to be peaking.

The Lions are -3.5. I'd be tempted to take the Packers getting the points but I'll probably stay away because I honestly have no clue.

If GB wins tonight 3 NFC North teams would have 10 or more wins. I wonder if there's ever been a division to have 3 teams reach 10 wins prior to week 15 before. It can't have happened much.

Lions have 13 defensive players on IR. At some point, you run out of bodies.

I think the Pack gets it done tonight because they can keep up with Detroit. For one week, the Lions won't roar because of the defensive injuries.

This Lions offense is just so fun to watch. So many talented receivers, amazing offensive line, tons of pre-snap motion, well-designed pass routes, two fantastic running backs... it's a thing of beauty.

Amen

Balm in Gilead, you might say.

Or at least, if you've already had some bourbon and were a certain kind of person you might say that. Not that I would know anything about that, personally.

That was a very favorable spot, but I don't see any conclusive replay that gets this overturned.

Love has been pretty awful tonight, missed multiple easy throws without any pressure

LOL, Sewell two hand shoves a guy in the back to save a sack right in front of the ref and no call.

I know head coaches want every game and I’m still surprised at how hard LaFleur looks to be taking this game. He is very agitated.

Every team with a coaching vacancy should be offering Ben Johnson a blank check.
I like his playcalling but.... I do wonder a bit if he will be a Slowik if he goes elsewhere... the best O-line in the league does a lot of heavy lifting. Slowik was the hot shit last year... his O-line got worse and now the Texans offense is pretty rough. Has happened to a lot of hot OCs, how they adjust to lesser talent is always interesting. And of course that is besides how much different the HC job is to the OC one..... just ask Josh McDaniels.

He's been doing quite a bit of that this season. Holds the ball too long too. GB is my team and a very good team but not elite. IMO they may win a game in the playoffs but not 2.

Do you think LaFleur has his barber travel with the team?

This poor guy is devastated by being down. No wonder his team always looks so prepared.

I keep hearing various reports that he is weird. Gase might mentor him on more things than O.

I know everyone want to do the Brett Favre comp (they used to say mixed with Rodgers on the basis of the INT% last year, but he's back to higher INT% now) but.... he's got a lot of Jay Cutler to his game

The Packers offense is so weird... like their QB is a rollercoaster, they play their best WR only like 60% of snaps because they REALLY want to make their 5th rounder with stone hands a thing...

Why? Were they playing zone?
They never got the playcall, the CB was by himself, the guy coming across to get someone ran past the inside WR instead of switching it off, so the CB who was there got stuck between going out to the wideout and coming inside... easy TD
