Someone was making a case for RGIII being Andrew Luck's Ryan Leaf. Maybe it's Kaepernick instead. I know, Kap was on the Niners the year before Luck was drafted.

I think that the comparison probably was because they went 1 & 2 in the draft as Manning and Leaf did.  RGIII has been bad, but not Leaf bad.

The whole season would feel different if they had closed out the Bucs game. (It would also be different, as they would be in the driver's seat in the division, and in the running for a first-round bye.

Yet, their failure to close out that game kind of sums them up -- tantalizing talent, but a defense that doesn't let you breathe easy with any lead.
