That penalty call is great for the draft pick and absolute horseshit for the on-field product.

So hard at high speed....if only there was a way to slow it down and re-check?

At this point in the season all I really want is competitive games. If they lose, so be it, we have a better draft position, but they can’t even execute some basics right now, just frustrating. They gotta nail this next draft and free agency period.

There's no one in the org that I'd trust to make draft picks and sign free agents. Wolf is completely inept.

A shotgun pitch to a RB And a dive up the middle are maybe the two worst possible calls in that scenario (within reason). Just shockingly fucking stupid
It is every freaking week too. AVP is clearly meeting the proverbial definition of insanity with these calls

lol even Steratore says no fucking way

Jennings was clearly trying to avoid him
Jennings barely jumped and Murray ducked into him.. as you said he was trying to avoid the hit. Murray being 4' tall also makes it really difficult to not hit him high..

It's either horrible play calling or having zero receivers that can get open ever., or both.

I’ve suddenly decided that I hate “fragrance.” Not sure why.

Do dives up the middle on short yardage situations generally have bad conversion rates? I thought they were the safest option for the average team (this team is obviously not average).

They are.

And people flip out if a run play goes horizontal in the spot. And don’t even try to run a PA pass that doesn’t work.

I just looked this up, inside run is the 2nd best short yardage conversion rate second only to QB sneak. The more outside the run goes, the more the conversion rate drops. No idea why people think inside dive is a bad call there, its just that the line fucking sucks.
