FSU can get plenty of lucky breaks in the playoff, but it won't matter. Have to assume the best teams in the nation will run the 'noles out of the building

So Muschamp's bold strategy to motivate his players by quitting hasn't exactly produced the desired result.

This is going to be a rout once the Florida guys quit.

tOSU should drop in the rankings after losing Barrett.

FSU isn't losing today.  But if MSST does, then TCU moves up and Baylor might be on deck.

Florida State might win 60% of their games if they played in the SEC.

Yep, and the best team in the ACC is barely beating a mediocre SEC team. Like I said, Free Sneakers University would win just over half their games in the SEC.

Winston is so turned off. Four interceptions, constant miscommunications in the running game, just an awful performance

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it comes out that he was smoking pot before the game.

Ironically, if the SEC gets shut out of the playoff, it kind of opens the door for FSU. I think they match up far better against Oregon, the Big 12 and OSU, than they do against Alabama.
But as Coach Jimbo just sayed, they've got to get by a good GT team first.

FSU would beat the mediocre teams and get crushed by the top tier teams.
The overall point is fair but you are exaggerating an awful lot. Fsu has been lucky but they've also shown an ability to turn it on. Playing an sec schedule, one could argue, would force them to show up for four quarters more consistently.

A similar FSU team did beat the sec champs less than a year ago

I do have to give Richt some credit, though. At least he sat down his autograph happy star. Who would have ever thought a Bobby Bowden disciple would have more credibility?
