I have not read the thread…I’m too aggravated to go back and read.
But I hate AVP for the conservative play calling on the penultimate drive (2 Stevenson runs to start the drive) and I hate Mayo even more for calling timeout on the 4th down play when the Colts looked to be in disarray. It was the polar opposite of Bill not calling timeout before the Butler pick.
As good as Maye is, I fear that this franchise is doomed for as long as Mayo is the HC (never mind Wolf as GM).
At least the Same Old Jets lost in excruciating fashion.

The terrible coaching, the many mistakes, the constant snapping defeat from the jaws of victory feeling and results, the rudderless franchise from top to bottom. But Maye... he's hope.
This team has at least 3 more wins with a remotely competent head coach. Any other team would have fired Mayo by now. He's getting worse by the week and his incompetence is costing them games.

You are right. And I have no idea if Kraft has the emotional IQ and cojones to both see that and act on it. That is something I would really like to know.
