This was Brady’s first win down by 13+ points in 4th quarter (regular season, was 0-37) & latest time left he’s had a go ahead TD (3 seconds)

Oh yeah, you know what I get from this stat? Tom Brady started 328 NFL games and was only down by 13+ points in the 4th quarter 37 times.

The other major sports all have debates as to who was the best. In footbal there is no debate. That's amazing.

I was deboarding a plane at the end. There was one TV on in the middle of the cabin that me, and 2 old ladies and the flight attendant were all tuned into.

We saw the first TD...called back for the hold...and then right before he hiked the ball on the game winner, the flight turned off the TV. I rushed to my phone to check NFL.com and confirmed the win.

Love to see it.

I just continue to be amazed at the extent a 45 year old QB is being asked to carry this team with horrific coaching, a battered OL and one of the worst running games we've seen in a while. Just put the ball in his hands, go shotgun and see what happens. The Bucs aren't winning a playoff game otherwise.

Dallas is going to crush this Bucs team. They aren’t good even after this win.
What an odd time to make a post like this.

Plus, how many playoff games has Dallas won in the last 26 years? 3. They average one playoff win every 9 years. That's not titles, by the way. I'm talking about a single, solitary win every 9 years. The Jaguars have 7 playoff wins in the same time frame. Lol.

Tom Brady has 5 playoff wins in the last 14 months. He has 35 in his career, and during that time, Dallas has 3.

But sure, Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott (literally one playoff win in his career) sure are scary when the chips are down.

This same Bucs team beat Dallas on the road Week 1. The Cowboys are obviously better now, but there are no juggernauts in the NFC, the odds of the Bucs or another non-Cowboys/Eagles team making the Super Bowl are considerable. I'll believe Jalen Hurts can beat a good defense in the postseason when I see it.

Brady will be a tough out, obviously, but I think their Oline issues will doom them in the end. He’s such a competitor though and TB likely won’t beat itself, so whoever they play will have to play well and avoid their own mistakes.

I agree with your overall point, but what are the 5 playoff wins Brady has since October of 2021? The only playoff games in that span were the 2021 games. Tampa beat the Eagles, then lost to the Rams. What am I missing?

Sorry, the last 23 months. Typo. You missed nothing.

Where Brady is so good is how fast he gets to the line and gets everyone ready and figures out the defense. He was snapping the ball with 20 seconds on the play clock even when the clock was stopped because of out of bounds or timeout. It completely neutralized the rush. And he was doing it as Evans and Godwin were going in and out with injuries. Just in complete control of both drives.
It’s like watching a great actor-you see the results, and sense all the hard work/preparation prior to the performance.

Watching him deal in the fourth quarter like that never gets old. I wish he was still playing in NE but just being able to watch him continue to do what he's always done, at 45 years old, is amazing.

Ultimately I don't think the Bucs are good enough to do any real damage this year in the playoffs, but you can never count the man out.

I really think the Saints would have been the favorite to win their division if not for that comeback by TB12. Had the Saints held on they would be 5-8 and the Bucs 5-7. Saints rest up with their bye next week, and Tampa @ SF which I have as a loss for them. So then tied, and then:

Tampa - Cincy, @Cardinals, Panthers & @Atlanta
New Orleans - Atlanta, @Clev, @philly & Carolina

We'll never know and it's a lost conversation but I think the Saints really blew it.

I had forgotten the Mannings were from New Orleans and have a soft spot for the Saints. Funny to see two guys who've done so much winning get their hearts torn out by TB12 as fans.

That clip makes it seem that way, but I watched the entire Manning cast last night and I swear it seemed like, especially Peyton, was flat out rooting for Brady most of the time. He even was complaining that you can't throw that holding flag on the earlier TD.

Now, he seemingly roots for all the QBs, but I was actually surprised at how much he kept rooting for/complimenting TB12.

It’s definitely a mutual admiration society with these two. A unique relationship for sure!

Their old man (Archie) played most of his career with the Saints, so there's probably residual liking for that team from his boys. Archie was a decent quarterback but always played on mediocre to bad teams. You couldn't help but root for him because he worked his ass off. The 'Aints and Bagheads were about those Saints teams.
