UNH is stopped and punts. Maine has it at their one-foot mark. Need to go 99 and 2/3 yards and convert a two-pointer in two and a half minutes.

I say it every week, but I disagree with everyone giving FSU shit.  All that matters is wins.  They win.  They win ugly.  If winning by large margins and looking good doing so were what mattered, the New England Patriots don't deserve the 2001 Super Bowl.  At some point, folks will realize that it's really hard to win every week, week in and week out.  FSU lost 13 of their starting 22 players to the NFL last year, and they are still 11-0.  I don't care what the games look like, only what, Marshall University, can say the same thing right now?  Yeah, they aren't playing the SEC schedule, but they don't control who is in their conference.  Do I think Bama and maybe Oregon are better than they are, and will likely beat them in the playoffs?  Sure, but until they lose, they absolutely deserve to be in the playoffs.

BigMike, I also disagree that the chances of their kicker missing from inside 40 yards was greater than BC going 80 yards.  Coming into tonight, he had not missed a single kick inside 50 yards in his college career.   He just missed a 42 yarder earlier in the game, but I think the chances of him missing again were about 1000 to 1, assuming the snap was good.  The odds of BC going the distance were probably just as tiny, but at least, they would have had a chance.  Barring a bad snap on the field goal try, the guy wasn't missing and BC had no chance of winning because the clock expired.  I wish more teams would take the chance and let the opponent score, and I think that situation screamed for it.

I agree, there was probably no more than a 4% chance of FSU not scoring a field goal on that last drive once they got to the 20

I just don't believe BC had a 4% chance of going 75 yards against an admittedly tired FSU defense in less than 1 minute.    Dives up the middle, and QB draws aren't going to do it in that situation,  and BC has no ability to drop back and pass the ball down the field

Don't know the last time I've seen a team commit 6 turnovers and win and not really feel threatened.

Does Lou Holtz speak English anymore?  My God, I can't listen to him.  I feel like he has a mouth full of drool at all times.

Instead of a spelling bee. I think Scripps Howard should do a pronunciation bee and have Holtz and Corso battle. The judge can spell a word and let those two bozos try and pronounce it.

Sat in the rain for the whole FSU / BC game in Tallahassee. Another ridiculous win for the Seminoles, but that's allthat matters. I saw ESPN posted that FSU has more wins over current top 25 teams than both Alabama and Mississippi State, for what it's worth.

Glad the Hogs destroyed Ole Miss. Hope Bielema has them turning around.

It's 2007 all over again.  Georgia is the best team in the SEC East, but it looks like they will be shut out of the SEC Title Game.

If Ole Miss beats Miss St and Mizzou beats Bama and it is chalk in the other power conferences, will the SEC not have any teams in the Top 4?

There is 0% chance that Mizzou beats Alabama.  But there is a chance that Auburn beats them.

Mizzou hanging on by a thread at Tennessee, up by 8 in a game where their kicker has missed two PAT.

First onside kick was touched by Mizzou, recovered by Tennessee, but Tennessee was offsides.

Second onside kick recovered by Tennessee....but at the 9.5 yard line. Then Tennessee burns a timeout reviewing the play (1 TO left).

No, no there isn't.  I like the odds of Alabama getting lazy and looking ahead to the playoffs instead of gearing up for Missouri better than the odds of Auburn staying within 14 points next week.
