I imagine time must be going really slow if you're an Everton fan. I loved seeing the Everton number 16 stoorin back to defend there.

It's great having natural crowd noises. The Everton fans have really added to the viewing experience. God i miss having fans in the stadia.

Well done Everton. Great game management.

Yayyyyyyy

Several MOTM candidates. Where the hell has this Siggy been? He’s been ***terrible*** for a season and a half but today he was flying around. Iwobi likewise has hauled himself out of the doghouse and has found a home out wide on the right. DCL making a mess in the box as usual. Godfrey was great. But it’s Big Mick Keggers for me. Cleaned up EVERYTHING in the box.

Never want to see three at he back again, Carlo!

Caught up with the Union - Bayern game from last night. It ended 1-1, but Union, while I'm sure happy to get a draw with arguably the best team in the world, had so many chances that they could have won the game by 3 or 4 goals, so that has to be a little disappointing.

Union is sitting in 6th after 11 games, with more tough matches coming up against Stuttgart (7th) and Dortmund (5th). And without Robert Andrich (suspended for both) and Max Kruse (out until February with a torn muscle). Normally that wouldn't be the end of the world this time of year, but there is no winter break this season.

Sheffield was a lot of fun to watch last year .. but they have completely lost their MoJo. This team looks doomed. It’s going to be a long long year for the Blades.

Edit: really have to feel for Rhian Brewster .. I don’t think this is what he had in mind when he asked out of Liverpool. He’s been on the pitch for twenty minutes now. I think I’ve only seen him once.

When I get the list with spanish only I check the regular NBC channels as they might have it on one of the cable channels.

I got this game on peacock today though.

I remember thinking when Son first started with the Spurs that he wasn't going to be an impact player. Boy am I a terrible judge of talent.

That's weird - it doesn't show on Peacock for me. I just got it to work now on NBC though. Seemed like there was something fluky with the app, because it was still showing the earlier game as "featured". I restarted it again and the current game finally showed up, and it worked. Thank you though!

After a series of great saves, how did the keeper misjudge that one?

He didn’t. That’s what the modern ball can do. No spin, total knuckle. Keepers have no chance.

Reminds me of the Pirlo free kick against Hart in the Euros a few years ago. Hart went all the way to his right and the ball went off to his left.

The replay from behind Kane showed it nicely - no spin, swerve, dip...I was confused because even in my wildest dreams I can’t strike a ball like that.

Lots of extra little elbows, ankle kicks, hip checks getting dished out by both teams.

The ref has talked to three different pairs of opponents.

Let the yellows start flying.

it’ll be a good piece of business if you do sell him on.

but yeah, he’s fun to watch
That's for sure...the Palace podcast I listen to was throwing values out for him like 60 million right now, which may be more than a bit aggressive, but no doubt they could sell him for far more than the 26 million they paid for him.

Here comes a clear and obvious error which takes several minutes of frame by frame replay from 8 angles.

California. Duh.
I actually wouldn't have minded them checking the possible penalty as long as they also checked the non-call on the foul that gave Fulham the ball in the first place.
