The athletic plays are fun to watch but it’s not sustainable QB play - putting yourself in terrible positions and making amazing low percentage plays can only happen so many times. You’d much rather your QB deliver on time and open

Obviously I don’t see what everyone else does and I am rooting for the Browns pretty hard but I don’t understand why we have reply if that is a catch. It hit the fucking ground.

Lamar Jackson has been sacked 28 times this year (not including today). That's tied for third in the NFL. But, sure Cris, it's impossible to tackle him.

From an angle biased to the back of the football, it looks that way. From the other angles, it doesn't. It's textbook inconclusive.

You may believe that it hit the ground, but there is no angle that shows that is bounced off the ground and not his leg. Replay isn’t to overturn calls that don’t clearly show something was called wrong.

It didn’t, look at the shadow it bounces off his leg to his hand (arguably, it definitely does not clearly hit the ground)

About as close a call as you can have. One of those “called on the field” wins the day things.
This is the one area I don’t like the rule that says if you call it not a score the coach has to challenge. The ref on the field had no idea. The receiver’s back was to him. So call it a score and get review. But then we give super importance a call they were guessing about.

Exciting touchdowns are better for the game, right?

Hey look you fuckers if you like a rule that says you can catch it on the bounce then you win. Great it’s fucking basketball now!

:)

Anyway, fuck Harbaugh’

Legitimately surprised that Baker hasn’t thrown an INT yet in a slop fest like tonight

You like that play. Throw a pick six ball on a play that has zero chance of being a first down.

I think I've now said this in 4-5 games this season that the Ravens should have lost.

There is no fucking chance the Ravens lose this game. Lamar has 4 int's and they are still winning. They are going to be the worst 9-3 team that has ever played in the NFL, and if we have to go into Baltimore in the playoffs and play them, I will bet a shit ton of fucking money on the Pats, and Matthew Judon will sack Lamar 8 times, and then take a steaming dump on the 50 yard line, because I force fed his lactose intolerance a pound of Mac n Cheese at halftime.

If it helps, I thought it pretty clearly went through his hands, bounced off his leg and hit the ground. His right hand and right arm weren’t under the ball, they were to the left of the ball, so unless it was a magic ball that levitated above the ground, it had to hit the ground. The camera angle where I thought it was “clear and obvious” was the front view that zoomed in.

But the only opinion that matters is that of the replay officials. It’s a close one.

95% of my NFL consumption is basically just reading this forum, and it’s kind of amazing to mostly read the threads here, and then turn on this game (between two above 500 teams!!). I think you all are spoiled like crazy
