I remember seeing a statistic that Arsenal scored just as frequently from open play last season as City did, and that just about the entire scoring differential between the two teams was from set pieces.

Arsenal did an EXCELLENT job pressing as a team for the first 30-35 minutes, creating lots of chances, but couldn't finish anything.  Last ten minutes were more even.

When they didn't score early in the game this was practically inevitable.

Can't really blame Wenger for this one.  Arsenal looked outstanding in almost every aspect of the game except (1) total inability to finish, (2) collision between keeper and defender leading to an own goal.  Maybe Arsene could have played more conservatively after the own goal, but Arsenal were seeing so much of the ball it's hard to blame him for a fw/mf swap.
