Goff is decidedly not terrible. That is an absurd comment. But he's certainly not great. The 3rd and 1 play wasn’t a good playcall, but the guy was open. Goff is terrible
You can't throw long on that play.

Wasn’t defending the play or Dan Campbell, he was absolutely brain dead for the final two minutes. Throwing deep is idiocy there, but since that’s what they chose to do, might as well note Goff should’ve given his receiver at least a chance. And it’s not absurd to call Goff terrible, there’s like, what, 18-20 better QBs in the league? So yea, probably exaggeration to call the 20th best QB terrible, but he’s for sure not good.Goff is decidedly not terrible. That is an absurd comment. But he's certainly not great.

they had timeouts didn’t they? The 3rd-and-1 play call was excellent I thought -- a short conversion may only lead to a FG attempt which is still no gimme and only leads to OT, Buffalo is surely going to clamp down on the short stuff there, and an accurate throw probably leads to a TD forces Buffalo to drive the length of the field.
The disaster was all the timewasting at midfield which handcuffed their options late in the drive.
There are not 20 QBs in the NFL better than Goff.Wasn’t defending the play or Dan Campbell, he was absolutely brain dead for the final two minutes. They had 2 at the time of the 3rd-and-1, but they began the drive with like 2:40 and all 3 timeouts, and having the option to run throughout the drive would have been very useful.they had timeouts didn’t they?
And > any patriots QB this year.Goff is 10th in yards and 12th in rating in 2022.
"Terrible"
Guys behind him in yards or rating include plenty of guys who are undoubtedly better than him, such as Hurts, Jackson, Tua, Prescott, Brady, Herbert, Stafford, etc. Goff is having one of the best seasons of his career, and he’s on pace for 4151 yards, 25 touchdowns, 11 picks, and a 92.8 rating. He’s not terrible the way that Zach Wilson is terrible, but he’s not good. The fact he’s 10th and 12th in two stats over a ten game span doesn’t demonstrate that he is.Goff is 10th in yards and 12th in rating in 2022.

You said he was terrible. He's 12th in the league in rating. The 3rd and 1 throw was worseThe 3rd and 1 call was a big problem
It’s a game thread. You called Nantz history’s greatest monster. He’s literally not closeYou said he was terrible. He's 12th in the league in rating. Literally not terrible.

Now that I would quibble with. It’s a game thread. You called Nantz history’s greatest monster. He’s literally not close
In your defense, I wasn’t aware of the toast picture until today. Once I have time to digest that info, I may agreeNow that I would quibble with.
Nantz is, in fact, history's greatest monster.
Mike McCarthy can't take his'n and lose to your'n ... and take your'n and lose to his'nThat was a great playcall on 4th down, no doubt.
That was a Andy Reid text book display of clock mismanagement and the dangers of playing for a tie and not the win.they had timeouts didn’t they?
Allen probably heavier than 237Broadcast just mentioned people not realizing how big Daniel Jones is, so I looked it up and he’s listed as 6’5 230. Meanwhile Allen is listed as 6’5 237. Something is off there, which is wrong?
One ref bet the Boys for sure.Soft illegal contact call on 3rd and 14.
