I admitted openly that I didn't want Jaemis until these past two weeks. I am an FSU Alumni and was not keen on drafting him. He has shown me some serious stuff these past two games. We need a winning QB and that's what he does, wins.

I think at this point I'd rather have Stork as Mangold is likely on the downside of his career.SeoulSoxFan said:There are maybe 3 players who'll start over Pats players on offense: Kerley, Ivory, and Mangold.
Why wait?dcmissle said:Completely falling apart. We're about 3 weeks away from firings in NY. Question is, how many go? I'd wait till season ends and start with the GM. But I'm not Woody
I'd spent time trying to get the Idzik successor right. That's the key hire, and there is no rush. This is a multi-season project now.GeorgeCostanza said:Why wait?
. Their secondary is ass. That will hold you back.MentalDisabldLst said:How the hell is Baltimore only 6-4? They look as tough as ever on defense, and Flacco seems to be having an up year. Glad we don't have to play them.
For one thing, firing a coach in-season is like declaring your franchise to be a tire fire. Also, if the interim guy somehow coaxes a 4-2 record out of this band of stiffs down the stretch, the pressure to give him the permanent job will be irresistible. Let Rexy play out the string, then sack him on Black Monday.GeorgeCostanza said:Why wait?
They are the only team that would march into Foxborough for a playoff game without a shred of fear, and justifiably so.MentalDisabldLst said:How the hell is Baltimore only 6-4? They look as tough as ever on defense, and Flacco seems to be having an up year. Glad we don't have to play them.

But not if the the 6 seed beats the 3 seed54thMA said:Unless they win the AFC North, finish with the #4 seed, the Patriots finish with the #1 seed, they win their first playoff game and then come here in the divisional round.
But other than that, yeah, we don't have to play them.
Ray Lewis and Ed Reed can have no fear. Zuttah? Not so much.dcmissle said:They are the only team that would march into Foxborough for a playoff game without a shred of fear, and justifiably so.

Hill's only started playing a lot the last couple weeks, after they essentially benched disappointing 2013 first-rounder Matt Elam. Unfortunately, that fix came at about the same time breakout star Jimmy Smith was lost for the year.MentalDisabldLst said:
I'll agree that as a general statement, ass tends to hold you back.
However, not a lot of ass there by Will in breaking up an endzone fade to Graham in which Graham had possession. And a few plays earlier, they should have had the INT on that weird reviewed play. They're making some things happen back there, in the limited sampling that I'm watching them on tonight.
They are well coached and Ozzie is willing to mix it up so it's not shocking if they've gotten better.MentalDisabldLst said:

... and on cue, Elam gets burned for a long TD. Hey, when you draft 5'9" safeties, they have trouble covering 6'5" guys! Who knew?Super Nomario said:Hill's only started playing a lot the last couple weeks, after they essentially benched disappointing 2013 first-rounder Matt Elam. A 5'9" safety can still play if they are otherwise perfect.Super Nomario said:... and on cue, Elam gets burned for a long TD. Hey, when you draft 5'9" safeties, they have trouble covering 6'5" guys! Who knew?
