The refs fucked em hard and they were stupid. That’s about all you can say

Idk why Bill even bothers drafting receivers. Next year if he tries it steal the card and replace it with a punter.

Mac looked better than he had, showed he can move down the field - but goes fully braindead when he needs to not.

Hopefully he can build on it. Encouraging in a lot of ways, but the team is collectively stupid in more situations than they need to be.

Anyone thinking that fielding that punt at the 5 was a bad play is nuts.... a big play there was basically the only chance they had to tie the game.

80 yards with no time outs from the 20? Come on.

Oh well. Feeling a lot better about Mac, marginally better about the OL and more worried about the safeties.

Hope Barmore gets back soon, the pass rush really needs him.

That's the worst kind of fucking handjob loss. I absolutely hate bullshit officiating costing games. I absolutely hate stupid plays made by Patriot players. This game had both. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. Fuck.

40 yards is hard for even Patrick Mahomes.

Throwing to your worst receiver -- nevermind. Doesn't matter.
It was 4th and 16, there is no high percentage play. Would you rather he throw it to someone tightly covered 20 yards downfield or the open guy?

Honestly. I'll take it.

One good game does not make a QB and he has to clean up how he responds to pressure, but you can live with these games over the shit from the rest of the season.

so.. Congratulations? Like why not just cheer for the team you root for rather than try to predict awful things that could happen? Do you do that with City?
I’ve watched them all year they’ve been so consistent in doing this that I’d argue it’s like predicting rain will be wet. More of an observation and also this is a game thread. (And City don’t do consistently dumb things except in the latter stages of Cl)

Like 900 passing yards by our QBs in that stadium last 2 games and 0 wins. What a house of horrors. Mac’s best game by a longshot. Season on the line next week.

People will go after the defense but I thought they competed well all game - most of the Vikings good plays were of "those guys get paid too" variety. Special teams and the braindead penalties were killer

Eh, they can still make the playoffs with a loss next week. Two very winnable games after that, then you gotta win 1-2 of the last 3.

Yeah.. I just don't get the compulsion of fans being miserable about their team... like people around here that want to be the first to write 'game over'. To each their own.

Pats now 4-20 since 2020 in games where the opponent scores more than 18 points. They just can't win these types of games anymore.

Jones’ timing this week was the best we’ve seen. Def seems to have recovered from that ankle.
Henry looked like the Henry of last year.
Special teams screwed us but a lot of good signs for the offense going forward.
