Watching this game between the 'Boys and the Chiefs, I'm reminded of Joan Rivers' joke about having to pick your favorite Menendez brother.

AFC is 100% going through the Chiefs, I think.
Not to pick on you or anyone, but haven’t the last few weeks kinda shown everyone maybe predictions aren’t gonna work out this year?

A month ago, we and KC sucked and were dead, the Bills and Bucs and Rams were invincible.

Nobody knows nothing.

Some pretty amazing defense by Dallas - failing to cover receivers is not a great plan

I agree with this kind of, but if the Chiefs can figure out their issues on offense (and say what you want about Andy Reid, but I'm willing to bet he figures out how to make Mahomes look like Mahomes again) AND they have addressed the issues on D, which it looks like they maybe have, they are a scary team.

That's a lot of if's but I think they are the clear favorites in the AFC barring catastrophic injury.

I’m extremely skeptical that they have the talent on D to pull through.

Chiefs and Patriots kind of on somewhat similar paths. Took a while to find things and won a few against teams that are not so good and then found their stride. Put Colts in that same group.

I don't know what was wrong with Mahomes, but he looks very back to me.
His receivers are getting wide open again.
I don't mean this to be overly negative of PM, but he rarely has ever been throwing into tight windows and in the past when he did a lot of interceptions were dropped.

That is what we saw at the start of this year, but now the receivers are wide open again.

I cannot believe McCarthy elected to enforce that on the extra point.
McCarthy is such a dunce. Chiefs are kicking off into the wind too. Dallas would likely have started their next drive close to the 40 if the penalty was enforced on the kickoff.

It's hysterical that one of the advanced metrics sites has McCarthy rated as #1 coach in the NFL for decision making so far this year.

Edwards Helaire is a big shoulder shrug of a player.

Really glad they didn’t pick Jonathan Taylor.
Ignoring injuries for the sake of argument, you could make the case they would be better off with any of the six RBs who came off the board after him. From the dual-threat pass-catching standpoint, Taylor or Swift fit what they usually want and would be great in this offense. But Akers/Dobbins/Dillon/Gibson all have a case.

The most interesting thing about CEH is that Mahomes hand-picked him. He’s certainly no Charles/Hunt.

Russell has been absolute dogshit since he's returned. I don't know if it's his finger or his confidence or both, but he needs to step up.
