Mahomes is so good in two minute. They are so organized and fast and get plays off so quick that the rushers never get close. They are best in the league at wrong footing you all the way down the field.

I know you want the clock to run on D in that situation but it seems they could have used a strategic timeout or two just to stem the tide once Mahomes got going. Give your best players a chance to breathe, get organized. James looked gassed.

Gronk actually blocks.
Gronk was the best non-QB offensive player of the 2010s, but he's also retired now (for the 2nd time). My point was just to agree that it's amazing how well Kelce moves at his age. Even if he is essentially a giant receiver and not a tight end, how many 250+ pound skill players are not just surviving but thriving at his age (he's the best at his position by a mile)?

Lockett and Adams (both 30) are the only other top
Receivers in the league over the age of 30. Is assumed the chiefs would fall off more this year i part because I figured Kelce would be a KAG at 33-but no

What’s the non lineman competition? Hopkins and Julio?

Antonio Brown had far better stats than either Julio or Hopkins. Surprisingly hard to find running backs - Lesean Mccoy, Frank Gore, Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch led the decade in rushing, and none of them feel quite right. Probably Peterson, given that he's the only non-QB to win MVP in the last 15 years (and it's 100% random that his two all-pro years in 2008 and 2009 don't count for this list).

I was trying to count all pros. Missed AB, saw Peterson but saw what you saw on the years.

I didn't think Jimmy had a game like this in him. I generally think Kyle is right not to trust him, but man this offense is deadly when they're throwing it around and clearing space to run.

Yeah based on the question marks of the top NFC teams with point differential, last minute wins over middling teams etc, SF has a good a chance as any to rally for a deep playoff run at this pace. Tough to properly calibrate them playing against this shell of a team, however.
