Two things:RELEASE THE SHELVEY
Here’s the thing... Are you sure? Was the ball off the foot of the passer? How do you know?I'm just relieved they overturned it with him actually being offside... unlike Firmino at Villa last year, Mane / Van Dijk at Everton, etc
Yep, Cricket has it right, if it’s with the margin of error then the original call stands. Here’s the thing... Are you sure? Was the ball off the foot of the passer? How do you know?
A 40 mph pass travels at 58 feet per second. The camera is at 24 frames per second. That’s two feet of error. There’s no possible way to be sure he was off. Those goals must stand.
I agree. Live he looked off. The freeze frame is not a legitimate methodology and the shit needs to stop.In this case, I thought it looked marginally off live, and Salah's foot was the furthest point forward on the freeze frame they chose, so I wasn't expecting it to stand... matter of expectations with this implementation of VAR I guess.
Lost the rest of your quote, but Williams needs to come off, too.Henderson
