Brady is still so good. Really stinks he didn't get the record back from Rodgers. But when the Bucs play like this - they actually look like they could have a shot in the NFC.
Julio looked pretty spry today. Which is rare.
If he can maintain, that completely changes this offense. Odds are he won't, though.
Especially since the all the other top teams in the NFC are led by QBs who haven't yet distinguished themselves in the playoffs.
I went into the season foolishly excited for what Brady and Julio could do together. The excitement is founded if (HUGE fucking if) he can stay on the field.
The crowd was electric. Into it for every play for both teams. Kudos to the German fans and the fans who traveled.
Now he's 2-2 against them. You know, third worst record he has against a team (KC 5-6, Ari 1-1). But don't let facts get in the way of fanboyism.
When their defense is good they are great. Their defense in the championship year gets overshadowed by Brady.
We all remember the amazing Brady comebacks and he can play from behind in the fourth quarter better than anyone can. But we all know that where he won so many games as a Patriot was how incredibly well he frustrates defenses when playing with the lead. What may actually be Brady’s undoing this year is how seemingly frustrated he gets even in leading positions.
I think that is regular season. I believe there was also a playoff win one time.
That call on first down when the Seahawks couldn't stop anything Brady was doing is arguably the worst one of the season. Just mind boggling stupidity.
If Tom Brady was able to highpoint that pass against an NFL DB and then avoid getting tackled on the way to the end zone that would have been the most miraculous play in NFL history. Slipping saved him the indignity of getting fruitlessly bodied.
Jay Glazer reported that Josh Allen’s UCL injury will affect his velocity on shorter passes, but will not affect his deep passes, but it’s ‘just a pain management issue.’

73 overestimated his vertical leaping ability just a bit, made up for it by carrying his RB around afterwards.
Which game? I haven’t noticed any difference this season from the recent past — O-holding is only called if it’s egregious or occurs at the point of attack, and it’s basically never called on double-team blocks.
It was in the Bills-Vikings game. In the play just before the Bills scored their second touchdown, the Buffalo running back nearly made it around the edge into the end zone. He was able to do so because two Bills players were grabbing the jersey of a Vikings defensive back to prevent him from moving out to tackle the runner. No call, though, despite the strange twisted position of the defender (who was on the OUTSIDE of the group of players -- and so could not be _blocked_ back to the inside, only pulled).
Every time I hear his H/W stats, he's bigger. 6'5" 240?

Allen’s athleticism is still somehow underrated. He’s Cam Newton with a much better arm.
To be clear, I was talking about peak Cam, not the guy who played for the Patriots. Even so, I think you’re right — Allen is bigger and stronger, and just as fast. Plus better at the whole throwing the ball thing.
When Allen stands next to a guy like Baker Mayfield, it makes Baker look like a Junior in High School.
This replay review in Chicago is absolute nonsense. Why are they wasting time on this? It was obviously out of bounds.
That was blatant. I don't know if a ref was blocked by a player from seeing that.
