Olson is horrible, continuing the theme of Fox missing Buck (and Aikman).
I said it earlier, but it's still true. Not having Buck on TV at 6pm on Sunday when it's dark out in the late fall and you've got the Christmas stuff up and the lights are twinkling and Tom Brady is trying to mount a comeback is just criminal. No other announcer has his voice.

Monday night football is different and most certainly not the same.

13 season career, he's made about 24 million.

Chase Daniel has made 42 million in 14 years. Incredible.
$42 million for Chase Daniel's 8 career TD passes. Is that the most $/TD for a QB ever?

I don’t mind Olsen. I miss Al more than Buck but do miss Aikman. They are good on MNF, so not as bad a situation as Al and Herb

The worst thing is they compete with Peyton and Eli. Peyton and Eli made sense when they had last year's crew calling the game. But there's no need for them now that Buck and Aikman call MNF. (Although I'll still watch the Manningcast of they have a big guest, like Obama.)

Charlie Batch in Pitt, Van Pelt in Buffalo & Zolak & Hoyer in NE were all long term clipboard holders with one team.

I think Simmons and Sal were right when they said that Al and Chris should have stayed or gone as a package. Because Al's too old to break in a new partner at this point. I like Kirk on college football, but he's not good on that broadcast.

As someone who rarely stays up for games that end at 11:30pm, I miss out on the announcers of those games.

Buck to me was a vibe and part of the holiday season.

I thought Kirk would be good and I like him for college but Simmons had it early; Kirk does not seem to enjoy the pro game the same way. That’s fine but why do I have to suffer?

Aaron Rodgers isnt wrong when he criticizes his wideouts. I don’t know if calling them out is good but the man isn’t wrong.

I was in the car earlier and listened to the last 30 minutes of Bills-Vikings on SiriusXM. They were carrying the Vikings radio crew on the NFL channel.

My freaking God, the Vikings crew are complete clowns. I get a color guy being all dopey and Zolak-y, but their PxP guy was worse than that. Just outright cheering like a dude in section 330. It was so obnoxious I almost wanted the Bills to win just to hear them suffer.

Every single radio guy is like that in the NFL. They are homers. Literally and figuratively. Which is why listening to a local broadcast is awesome.

Why do you hate fun?

McVay puts in some scrub on first and 10 in the red zone. Tries a QB read and he loses 4.

Great call Sean, after the first good drive Wolford has had all game, you pull him.

I’m amazed at how many NFL announcers don’t understand the intentional grounding rule. You can be ten yards out of the tackle box, but if the throw doesn’t get to the LOS and there’s no receiver in the area it’s grounding. Burkhardt was the lates offender.

Dak wasn't out of the box on that play, right?

lol Raiders allow a 39 yard Matt Ryan rush, then fail to jump on an easy fumble recovery

then have the worst tackling of the day on Parris Campbell's walk in touchdown

The only way this season goes worse for Aaron Rodgers is getting dumped by Blu of Earth and she starts dating Bailey Zappe.

Wow that throw by Rodgers was one of the worst completions you'll ever see. His receiver would still be running if not for that throw behind him.

The Raiders made the playoffs last year during an insane and difficult season for the team, where one of the players killed people while going 120 on a road while wasted and the coach was outed as a bigoted troglodyte who called the commissioner a [redacted] and fired. Rich Bisaccia was the coach. He was an interim coach, so he was let go.

They hired Josh McDaniels. The team is 2-6 and might lose to the Colts, who don't have a coach or a QB.
