There are times I think Michigan State is the best team.

I do too but then I watch the 4th quarter of the Nebraska game when they were a fingertip away from blowing a 27-3 lead at home to a meh Husker team.

FSU has won what, 26 games in a row?  Umm, that makes them a good team, no matter how anyone wants to slice it.  It's just plain not easy to win in the FBS every week, and that's why we aren't seeing a clear cut national champion emerge, but there are plenty of "good" football teams.  FSU, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan St., Oregon, Mississippi St. and on and on..  Would you guys rather see some team go out and win every week 45-7, or see what we are seeing this year?  Me, I'd vote for this over one or two dominant teams every single time.

That was the most horrifying way to win a football game that I can remember seeing for one of my teams.  Both Ole Miss and Auburn would have been better off if Auburn had run on that earlier 3rd-and-1 pass play.

I'm not sure which game was more of a gift for a Auburn , this or Kansas State

Kansas State, by a mile.  3 missed field goals and a TD that went off the hands of K-State's top receiver turning into an INT can't be topped.  In this game, at least Auburn won on both lines, and forced some key turnovers.  The defense was alert enough to take advantage of Wallace's stupidity to force a fumble, then Frost stuck with Treadwell long enough after his teammates had bounced off of him like he was Ultron to lead to that horrifying but timely fumble at the end.  Kansas State dominated Auburn on both lines, the opposite was true today, but Auburn just played an ugly game with penalties and lousy tackling form.

I came away from this game feeling like Auburn is the better team, but is just too sloppy to ever consistently play like it.  Can we transfer the brains of the BC players into the Auburn players' bodies?  Just during the games, even, I'll take my chances off the field!

Holy shit.  South Carolina might have fumbled the kick return, but it's tough to get a good look on replay.

Ball is out.  Holy shit.  11 seconds left.  If they can confirm clearly that Tennessee recovered it, it'll be Tennessee ball with a chance to kick a field goal to win.

That's fucked up.  They let the play stand.  Said it was "confirmed" on replay.  No idea how they confirmed he was down, when the ball was very clearly out.

Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
I don't know how I feel about that Treadwell play. One part feels it was effectively a tackle no different than a horse collar in terms of danger to the tackled player. Another thinks it was helmet to helmet (he's defenseless if he's in the grasp of a defender and his progress has stopped, and he could have changed his level by being tackled - all debatable). Yet another thinks it's all too close and so circumstantial that they got it correct. What a strange set of circumstances - but for a half-yard more.
