Can they turn down their crowd mic a little so the announcers don't have to scream all game?

0-3 to 4-3
Yeah, you can't take the clock down from 20 to 6 seconds when you aren't in field goal range yet. An incomplete pass there and the game is over, because you're only hope is a Hail Mary at that point with 2 seconds or whatever. If you use the timeout with 20 seconds left, you get 2-3 shots at a sideline route to get those yards. They got lucky because Houston was playing for a deep pass when there was no chance the Saints were going longer than 10 yards with 6 seconds on the clock. There shouldn't have been a defender more than 10 yards off the LOS.
Yes, but if you have that TO in your pocket you keep the middle of the field open. Burn it and you’re left to sideline routes only which are much easier to defend. So 18ish seconds, no TO and sideline rotes or 6 seconds, no TO and the middle of the field?

Oakland fans are pretty amazing considering all the circumstances.

Call me goofy but I like the game on the baseball infield. A throwback to a time when the game wasn't so sanitized and corporate. I'm not a get-off-my-lawn type but I think the game wasn't meant to be played in climate-controlled conditions on an immaculate artificial surface.

Curt Gowdy, Al DeRogatis, Chiefs at Raiders with los on the infield. Timeless.

Somebody help me out here. The Saints’ WR caught that last pass with a few seconds on the clock. The receiver went down voluntarily. The Texans’ defender touched him with :02 left, stopping the clock when the Saints called a TO.

So here is my question: if the Texans’ defender had not touched the receiver when he went down voluntarily, and instead just let him lie there on the field, would the clock have kept running? It’s my understanding that you can’t call a time out when the ball is live. Did the Texans’ defender mess this up?

The play should be blown dead if the ballcarrier gives himself up, a la a QB kneel or slide.

It was probably worth letting the guy lay on the ground if you are HOU. Maybe he instinctively gets up to run with it, maybe the refs completely fuck it up and run clock.

He gives himself up, a time-out is called, and that’s the beginning and end of it. Even that announcing crew pointed that out prior to the play.

Don’t miss the special halftime performance by G-Eazy.

Must be saving the event slush fund for Vegas, they weren’t paying Mack or Cooper after all.

The only thing I know about G-Eazy is that line in Eminem’s Machine Gun Kelly diss track. And also that his music kinda sucks.

And that replay made it look like the refs missed about 3 penalties on that play.

can they call that face mask now? I don’t know all the new replay rules.

If so can the Raiders un-decline the penalty they declined?

Not sure I get the criteria for "obvious."

That last replay made it look pretty clear the ball was out of Flacco's grip before his elbow hit the ground.

Something crazy happened with a Denver receiver on the play, too.... went flying through the air near the goal line.
