NatsTown!
I have a work study student who likes to use her own computer but doesn't have outlook or outlook express and I honestly don't know how to create a companyname.org account that she can access. She keeps saying "don't you have an outlook.com account?" and of course I don't think we do because the rest of us use outlook as part of Office. Is there a way for her to use a microsoft live?

There's a very clunky webmail option with the bluehost server we use but it is ugly. What are my options for her? I can forward her work email to her gmail account, but I'd like for her to be able to send email from the companyname.org account...

Please help! Thanks!

I use Outlook.com (web & app) for my personal domain email with no problems.  It's not instant, but I think it refreshes every 15 minutes or so.  If she has her own Outlook.com account, she can go to settings and add an email account.  Then she just puts in the email address, password and server you create.

You can do the same thing through Gmail, I just like Outlook.com's interface better.

OK, thanks. I thought that was the case, I will work on it with her tomorrow. I had a feeling it was easier than she was making it out to be, but I've not had to set up a work email using gmail or outlook before.  I told her to figure it out but it might be faster if I figured it out first. :)

There are also other email clients (free ones) besides Outlook out there: Thunderbird comes to mind. if webmail isn't working well for some reason.
