Southwestern CT
"The Second Coming"

Besides the obvious, there's also the fact that most of you won't get out of first inning without experiencing the second coming ...

Too bad it can't be like the old days with nicknames like the Splendid Splinter.  Everything seems to need to be short and sweet.

El Lanzador de la Muerte - The Pitcher of Death.

(May not have my masculines/feminines correct)

You do. Muerte is a feminine object.

In the vein of the Spanish nicknames, I really like El Zurdo.

He really doesn't need a nickname. He can be just Eduardo Rodriguez.
With quality pitching he has a name, his name is Eduardo Rodriguez.

Ed-Rod sounds kind of like Eddard, as in Eddard Stark. Therefore he should be called Ned, or Warden of the North, if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
