Still not sure why police would have to go "secure the residence" for a minor health scare.Unless it's mandated by federal law. He could have had an allergic reaction for all we know.

I wouldn't call it an allergy, but some people can suffer severe medical consequences from ingesting/using even small amounts of cocaine.I was mentioning this weirdness in the office and every response was some variation on "too much cocaine?" (I live in Oregon)
edit: like an allergic reaction... to cocaine! But really, does he live right by the police station? Why would he go there?
yup, that's the issue. it could just be that he left the house in such a hurry that he left the door open ... but, again, until it's cleared up, it lingersStill not sure why police would have to go "secure the residence" for a minor health scare.
It only applies to Oregon.I'm stealing this. I hate saying I live in the Worcester area. I'm from the south shore dammit.
I believe the CBA (or a separate agreement) enables the league to release certain categories of information on player health ("torn ACL" or "pulled hammy"). Note that other categories of non-competitive injuries (such as what happened to Armond Armstead) are not disclosed with any specificity at all.I'm always curious about this kind of thing as it relates to HIPAA. I've only tangentially worked in the healthcare field but it's a massive no-no to even disclose an individual's name so it makes me chuckle every time we get instant and highly specific updates on an athlete's condition. I know it's understood that an athlete's injury basically falls under employment record or something like that, making it open, but I believe there are grey areas (the release of JPP's medical records, for example).
I'm much more interested in knowing how soxhop got this image posted on mobile without it being flagged as "unsupported video."Pats statement

Here's a statement from the Patriots regarding Chandler Jones
Is there a point to your post? It wasn't obvious what I meant given the post immediately preceding mine?Reiss looked kind of gimpy?
I realize you're just passing along a rumor. So, just to analyze a bit, does this in any way help us guess why Jones would have gone to the police rather than the hospital? Seems difficult to understand that part regardless of whose house he may (or more likely may not) have been inRumor about this has been out there for almost two days not:
Means nothing, very well might be made up, just saying it's out there.
Um please let this have nothing to do with why Gronk misssed practice today
Not that I have any idea whether this rumor is accurate or completely unfounded, but it is possible he hung out with a young cancer patient early and then got into trouble late, right?
Which is why bullshit "sources" such as this should be ignored and anyone who posts them should be ashamedRumor about this has been out there for almost two days not:
Means nothing, very well might be made up, just saying it's out there.
Maybe beecause it was broadcast on the police band radio that he was being transported to the hospital, so not home (for snoops and looters to plunder)? Remember Brady got robbed when he lived at Marina Bay in Quincy.Still not sure why police would have to go "secure the residence" for a minor health scare.
It's not true until "Pigskin Snitches" says it's trueMaybe beecause it was broadcast on the police band radio that he was being transported to the hospital, so not home (for snoops and looters to plunder)?
The really simple explanation would be that he was rushed out of the house and he or someone with him remembered that they left the door open.Maybe beecause it was broadcast on the police band radio that he was being transported to the hospital, so not home (for snoops and looters to plunder)? Remember Brady got robbed when he lived at Marina Bay in Quincy.
I love it when a plan comes togetherAfter punching Belichick in the eye.
Well 2 days after.FWIW, both Jones and Gronk were at Gillette on Monday, the day after the alleged Keith Richards style evening.
Belichick's black eye not apparent until Tuesday.
Then Jones went home and then walked to the police station?D and C reporting Jones OD'd on pills at Gronk's house.
That is just the flunky producer not really the show, that guy sucks and putting this out there sucks. There is no chance he has any "sources" on this.D and C reporting Jones OD'd on pills at Gronk's house.
Sorry, server is whacking out for me.
We should be able to believe that no one could be that stupid and irresponsible, but...The flunky looks as though he got it from Pigskin Snitches
I can't stand that producer but just because Gronk wasn't there doesn't mean Jones Wasn't at his house. They supposedly are close. It would be unbelievably irresponsible if he was not 100% on it.Gronkowski was in Florida this whole weekend. He didn't get back until Sunday. That D and C report, like most of their crap they spew, is false.
http://terezowens.com/gronk-spotted-shirtless-in-florida/
It's not a journalist with a track record---it's the producer of a crappy radio show with declining ratings looking for oxygen. Not sure why we would assume it's any more credible than some random poster here with 'inside sources'I can't stand that producer but just because Gronk wasn't there doesn't mean Jones Wasn't at his house. They supposedly are close. It would be unbelievably irresponsponsible if he was not 100% on it.
Gronk has a house off north street in foxboro right around the corner from the stadium in a new development.Just play devil's advocate, but Chris Curtis's report just says it happened at Gronk's house, not that Gronk was involved. Does Gronk live with his brother(s) and friends? Or has he moved on from that?
There's literally no smoke. There's a story in the Herald, and a bunch of people goofing aroundCould Jones practice on Monday if he ODed on Sunday? None of this does make sense, there is a lot of smoke, but I'm not buying it all.
There is SOME smoke. There is an awkward acknowledgment by the Foxboro PD that they interacted with Jones and then sent him off to the hospital late at night. There is no explanation from Jones or the Patriots about what the issue was. There is Gronk missing practice today. There's literally no smoke. There's a story in the Herald, and a bunch of people goofing around
Great get for JetBlue. I mean, if he has to go to Florida why isn't he taking the time machine?Gronk was on a JetBlue plane in Florida on Sunday.
@OnlyInBOS: Gronk just boarded a @JetBlue flight in Fort Myers & is heading back to Boston. #GronkIsMyCoPilot https://t.co/BIOOKVjciL
