Let's keep the point train rolling by getting two more any way we can get them against the Lightning at the Garden Thursday night at 7 PM.  The B's have separated a little recently from the few teams that are chasing them for the #8 seed and are only four points in back of Washington for the #7 seed (with the B's having a game in hand on the Caps and two games still left to play against them).

There's probably nothing to be gained in the post-season by catching the Caps, but catching them in the regular season could very well improve the B's odds of making the playoffs.
 
EDIT:  Ah, but maybe I should have written "#7 position in the playoff race" and not "#7 Seed" in my OP.  I really was just trying to emphasize the former.
