Phil Booth out indefinitely with a fractured hand sustained late in last night’s win over PC. Huge blow to a team that is the best in the country right now and fully capable of winning a National Championship.

Feel really bad for Phil, missing all last season and now this. Hopefully he can be back for the tourney.

Sucks. Hoping he can make it back sometime in March. He was really, really playing well.

21-1, best 22-game start in team history. Early word sounds like Booth is going to be back in time for the tourney.

Also, looks like it's down to Nova and Arizona for top 2018 PG Jahvon Quinerly. If Nova lands Quinerly, it would give Wright the monster recruiting class (with Cole Swider and Brandon Slater already committed) he needs with Bridges and Brunson likely leaving early after this year.

Nova lands McDonald's AA point guard Jahvon Quinerly who decommitted from Arizona after the FBI probe/cases last fall. Huge get for Wright, assuming Quinerly gets fully cleared eligibility-wise. Adding Quinerly (#26 2018 rank) to forwards Cole Swinder (#34) and Brandon Slater (#48) make for a monster recruiting class coming next year (which is needed with Brunson and Bridges highly likely to be off to the NBA).

Gritty win over a really good PC team at an absolutely electric MSG. Made the B10 tourney feel pretty jv. 1 seed, best overall record in college basketball the last 5 years. Get hot and make a run.

Think Nova on their best day is better than anyone else in the country on *their* best day, and that they would beat anyone in a best of 7. They're really a pleasure to watch.

This team can fill it up when they get going, which they usually do eventually. Don’t like them taking as many 3’s as they did today but Bama is long and athletic, making it tough to penetrate off the dribble.

The D has really improved. They are a lot of fun to watch and are an absolute load the way they are going right now.

Boston is going to be a lot of fun Friday and hopefully Sunday.

Should be a heck of a game against WVU. Went to pick up my tickets and there is a lot of Nova gear around Boston today. Will be electric at the Garden tonight.

I was there in 2009 when Nova took down Duke. It was definitely buzzing that night.

Very happy. They had a terrible shooting game and still beat an excellent team on the back of D and rebounding. Awesome run these past 4-5 years...

Next game will be the toughest test of the year!

With134 wins, Villanova now holds the record for most wins over a four-year stretch in D1 history...pretty amazing.

Fuck Nova.

(Says jealous GTown alum).

Congrats man, you guys have built a hell of a program. One of my oldest friends is a Nova alum and at least we can all agree that Syracuse fucking is the worst.

I’m still grateful to Villanova for that crazy win in 85 over that loathsome Georgetown team. So I guess I’m glad about tonight. Sort of.

It takes a special kind of butt hurt to dive into a champion’s thread like that. Bad look.
It was sarcasm since that’s been the BE narrative from some of the posters here. No ones happier than me this AM...

My post certainly was not directed to you. Quite the opposite.

His post, was, however, instructive. I had not realized that Brad Stevens told Duke “no.”

I have joked around here for a while that JW would be next Duke coach just because of his looks - mainly before he suddently became the best program around. I’m happy for Nova, great team and great coach with a real basketball tradition.

We all have our Furmans - especially early on with a new team. They'll figure it out. Nova and UVa have put themselves back on the recruiting map and will be good for a while now.
