I have been sent a flash drive with a dozen or so files saved in .msg form. What is the easiest way for me to review these on a mac?

.MSG files are Microsoft Outlook, right?

My understanding is that they should be human readable using a legitimate text editor. I would recommend downloading a legitimate text editor such as TextWrangler and putting it in your Applications folder. Make copies of the files (i.e. onto your local hard disk; you want the copies on the flash drive untouched in case I'm wrong) and control-click one of the files. Select Open With... and choose TextWrangler if it appears. Otherwise, select Other... and select TextWrangler.

Yep.

Or use Mozilla Seamonkey, which can open them in an email reader context on Mac/Linux.

Just download them from wherever, Right Click (Or two finger click, who doesn't like two fingers?) and do "Open With" i can open them in Outlook no problem on my mac or my Outlook on the VMWare Fusion instance on it.
