What this thread is for:
Posting about something that you think is very useful and well designed in the tech world. Apps, software, hardware, gadgets, tools, toys, whatever. Give us a quick and dirty overview, preferably with pictures and why it works for you. Hopefully this will introduce anyone from the most to least computer savvy to some new stuff. So don't be afraid of posting anything you like. And don't be afraid of responding just with questions, thoughts, or discussion.
What this thread isn't for:
Posting a list of a bunch of useful stuff. Make a thread about lists if you want.
Posting about lots of stuff in one post. New thing you like, new post.
Arguing about the merits of something ad nauseum. If something really warrants a ton of debate, start a new thread about it.

This is a clean, well-designed app for when you want to know all the basic weather stuff you could possibly need to know at a glance. It's $4 but worth it. No ads, no loading problems, no nonsense. Just instant info, updated to where you are right now.
The three pages that comprise pretty much all of this app are right there.
1. Current temp, what it feels like, and if it's going up or down. Is it going to rain in the next hour? And how much?
2. What's happening over the next day?
3. What's going to happen this week?
Dead simple. No clutter. Very fast. It has a few other features and notifications as well, but right there in 1-3 is everything most of us need to know when we're wondering about the weather.
