Alderweireld actually ducked out of the way of Sterling's first goal. I understand that the instinct is to duck when a ball is smashed at your head from close range but it's kinda your job to get in the way of that.

I trust exactly 4 Spurs players right now - Jan, Sissoko, Eriksen, and Son. Poch needs to sort out the MF - Sissoko should probably shade to Trippier and give him cover.

Get up Sissoko! Spurs can't afford another CM injury. Olvier Skipp is the only CM on the bench (gulp).

Notable by his absence from your list is Lloris. He looks like he'd rather be anywhere else.

Spurs are playing a more defensive system but it's not working very well. They don't really have the personnel for it. This feels inevitable.

Hard to imagine it ending 3-2. But I'm not ruling out the possibility of a Spurs counterattack if they can weather this storm.

Llorente was a mistake, this is not the game for a slow guy. Probably should have rolled the dice with Skipp, or Foyth as a midfielder.

The system they are playing now has Son and Lucas deeper to help out defensively. They aren't in position to counter at pace anymore.

HUGE. That said, I have no faith in City keeping Spurs from getting a 3rd.

It was coming. Spurs don't have enough defensive presence in midfield but there's not much they can do about it.

Safe to say I don't feel the least bit comfortable right now. Also, i told all of you that Pep's setup would never generate goals and be too congested!

Absolutely no idea why Tiquinho Soares didn't start this match for Porto

Outstanding work from Firmino on the edge of his own area to start the break, finished by Salah after a great ball from Arnold

Gotta get Mané off with his yellow, ideally for Shaq
