I was worried about Dallas during the draft. Damnit. No excuses for the front office. He was freely available. Heads should roll.

would love to scoop Bryc Ford Wheaton. Might be a bit less likely given we got Speed in the draft, but could happen

So remember how people made a big deal that Darnell Washington had the biggest wingspan in combine history for a TE at 83 3/4".....

That's only because Lumpkin wasn't there 84.5" at his pro-day.
Physically e's basically a bigger (slower) Darnell. Other interesting tidbits, his 10 and 20 splits were the same essentially as Washington. Not as agile though clearly not the same athlete. But if you were looking for a blocker with a huge catch radius in the red zone... Lumpkin seems to have some potential.

Malik got a good deal.
The Patriots gave Cunningham a contract that includes $200,000 in total guarantees and a $30,000 signing bonus, according to a source. That’s the most guaranteed money the Patriots have ever given out to an undrafted free agent. It’s more guaranteed money than most 2022 sixth-round picks received last season, though it is a lower signing bonus.

From the article: "The Patriots only had room for four undrafted free agents, so the usual pool of money will likely be concentrated on only a few players, Cunningham being one of them."
So, how does that work?

Brockington..... might be a TE?

Very tough to get info on the 2022 Citadel season or his role but:

He's 6'1", 278 lbs... which is awful small for a T, or a guard in the NFL. And it looks like from the few mentions of him I can find online, they threw him passes this season (not clear how many, but not just a trick Tackle eligible play.
Looks like he had a catch for 29 yards in 10 games, & had another 20 yard reception called back due to penalty against Campbell...

Well, Miguel said the Pat's would only be able to sign 3 UDFA, so unless they start making cuts that's going to do it.

The 49ers signed UDFA Jack Colletto. He’s an interesting player, having played QB, LB and FB in college at Oregon State. I wonder if they were motivated to sign him to play on special teams and as an insurance policy from the fiasco at the NFC Championship.

I only know about this signing because he’s the first guy from my high school to get this close to the NFL, and I’m excited he’ll be playing for my favorite team. Though if he makes the team, it will cause a lot of difficulty for the many Seahawks fans there.

Teams have a 90-man roster limit during the offseason, including players that were on IR when the season ended. Pats just drafted 12 players that have to be accounted for.

Does anyone know a reliable place to find roster information that is entirely up to date? Patriots have to be awful close to 90 already.

Both of the following links seem to hint at having 87 players prior to UDFA season (I could be off by 1 or 2):

https://www.patriots.com/team/players-roster/

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-england-patriots/cap/

Sometimes it's hard to determine if a player reported as "signed" is actually signed as a UDFA or has simply been given an invitation to try out.
