That's accurate. it's the absolute right move at the absolute right time to sustain KC's excellence. I hate this trade so much.
This is where I am. Belichickian. Hill and Kelce are going to age out of, if not the league, then elite status in the next couple of years. They've got Mahomes for a decade. Better to move on a year early than a year late, and start building the next core around PM while everyone else goes all in for one year (in which you still have a better QB than they do).

I remembered seeing these quotes, so I went looking myself…both are top 20 in raw yac and yac/rec among qualifying receivers on PFF as well as every other major site i found on my Google search.
I’m guessing the numbers quoted above include virtually every starting and third down back in the league, as well as quite a few backups, which I think is a bit disingenuous.
It's everyone with 30+ catches. Saying it's disingenuous kinda makes me think you think I was lying or trying to paint a picture that isn't true. I simply went here: 2021 NFL Advanced Receiving | Pro-Football-Reference.com

If we move it to 50+ catches, it's still 45th or so. If it's just WR over 30 catches he's 39th. If it's WR over 50 catches he's 24th--there's only 48 WR that had over 50 catches. So he's smack dab in the middle. You can keep chopping it up if you like to get him in the top 20.

In summation--48 WR had 50 catches or more. Waddle was 24th in YAC/C. That's simply not one of the "top threats in the league". He could become that. I wasn't taking a shot at Waddle, I was taking a shot at Sharp.

Worth noting.... Hill isn't either. Even with all the long TDs he's not a huge YAC guy. Sharp just invented a story he liked based on the SF stat and the fact that Hill and Waddle are fast and therefore he assumes good at YAC.

Yeah. They have YAC raw yardage, but it's due to them catching a lot of balls.

Also, Brandon Bolden was second in NFL in YAC/C lol
