Has anyone else been having issues with the online stream the past few weeks? I listen in Chrome at work and lately a few times a day it'll freeze up and stop playing. I'm not sure if it's just me but I think it's a bigger issue because I've noticed it on my phone more recently as well.

The whole commute yesterday, off and on today, I use the radio.com app.

Yup.
For a while it was unlistenable since it was playing a delayed feed over itself.

edit: and i am not sure how their support works since when you use the "contact us" link, it goes to radio.com, not anyone associated with TSH

I use the CBS Local app and it generally works.  But it does drop from time to time, and it streams a good 2-3 minutes behind real time.

Thanks everyone. Glad it's not just me. I knew about the delay and blamed the phone issues on poor service. But the issues on my PC have become more and more frequent and frustrating lately.

Oh good lord. Wallach rolling with just Trenni this morning. I actually had to listen to some Dennis and KKKallahan.

Which is a shame because Trenni is pretty good and I think could grow into the job nicely. Would be interesting to see what swapping her in for Wallach on a normal day would be like.

Is there anything sadder than the guys who call in to try and hit on a woman on the radio?  It's so fucking creepy and pathetic.  Serious douche chills hearing stuff like "I'd like to buy you a pajamagram Trenni."

Same.  Wallach trying to carry the show by himself is embarrassing.  I bet Rich cringed when he tuned in to hear the show.  I'm sure Johnston and Flynn will be doing most of the fill ins soon over the holidays, who are actually fairly solid as subs.

Yeah she was doing well and Wallach was horrendous. He couldn't even do the pajama gram commercial right.

After five years, it's shocking to me that Wallach still has a job on that station.  98.5 flushed out Tanguay rather quickly.  I assumed Gresh and Wallach were next on the chopping block.   Sadly, I was wrong.

It's amazing too how long he's lasted while stepping all over the show. Fred admonishes him at least once a month on air for not shutting the hell up.

Well as an indication how they did, Fred when he was leaving last Friday said he would be off the grid and off twitter for the week, except when the ratings came out.

Gresh is markedly better than Wallach, which is really all you need to say about how painfully bad Wallach is at his job. At least Gresh is very knowledgable on football and has undeniable chemistry with Zolak, even though their antics get tiresome over an extended listen.

While EEI definitely blew it letting Felger, Bertrand and others escape to 98.5, nothing in the last five years has made me think that they made any mistake letting Wallach go.

To pile on Wallach he really is horrific and I'm amazed he still has a job in Boston on the airwaves.  There is a reason why every other flashboy, from Meter, to Pete, to Beetle and so many others have all had the chance to either host their own show or fill in regularly as the primary host when someone was out on vacation... Yet Wallach only gets to fill in during an emergency while the station has to bring in other folks.

What exactly does he bring to the station and show?

But wait, I thought that the end of the NESN simulcast only meant that the D&C radio ratings would skyrocket?
But they're losing again?

i r confuse

It must just be a Larry Johnson/Craig Mustard situation.  He must be really cheap.

They have Kravit on right now. Fred and Rich are doing a good job of attacking Bobs logic on his approach to asking for Belichick to be fired. It's a pretty good back and forth.

Just turned it on. Is there new info that I'm unaware of? They seem to be both stipulating that the Pats purposely gave the refs underinflated balls PRIOR to the game ( as in under 12.5 psi) with Rich saying that's on the refs and Fred laughing that off and matter of factly saying they cheated.

Rich said he's double checked with a couple sources who are both in agreement with what he was talking about. Fred and Rich agree the sources are trustworthy for the info

No new info but it's about the only plausible theory that involves any intent on the Pats' part. But it's only believable if we choose to not take Belichick and Brady at their word. It's very likely that the balls they submitted were under-inflated because no one with the team ever bothered to measure them. The refs are the ones charged with the responsibility of making sure they meet league standards.

Belichick himself said he gave the balls to the refs and told them to inflate them to minimum amount required. There's no question the onus of making sure the balls are at regulation level inflation is on the refs and not the team.

Didn't he say 'we give the balls to the refs and ask them to fill them to the minimum'? Belichick does not hand the balls to the refs himself...

Substitute "he" for "they" then. It doesn't change the meaning of what I was trying to convey. Point is: from what Belichick said the team doesn't concern itself with the inflation of the balls, they leave that to the refs, by his own admission.

I'd be surprised if that happened. Fred and Rich both said how much they'd hate it when F&M went to it.
