I was amused by Fred's rabid vitriol of Lifshatz and their back forths. It made for great "garbage" radio as you put haha. Kendra, to me, adds absolutely nothing. But I guess I'm just not the right audience.Bankroll Boys was by a good margin the worst T&R/H segment ever. Good riddance to good garbage
This is nonsense. She isn't an interview. She's a kinda of, sort of, maybe (although heavily, heavily filtered on socials) attractive woman with a mic. I like Breer, not everyone does though, but at least he brings something to the table (like, working in the NFL for 20 years). She brings her stories of dudes groveling over her in DMs and selling feet pictures during Covid.I find it hilarious that this group immediately freaks out when Fred or Hardy talks to Kendra and says how gross it is whereas Zolak literally poops on his chair and everyone loves him, this forum is insane lol
Kendra is a fun, young personality and a way better interview throughout the week than that stiff Albert Breer
She brings a sense of humor and the ability to laugh at herself which Albert Breer has never even heard ofThis is nonsense. She isn't an interview. I swear one day she's going to be like "well, the carpet can't match the curtain when it's hardwoods!!" to get the guys to ask her about her "grooming"
That sucks. Loved Mike.
The show without guests is pretty bad, both Albert and Kendra are necessary changes of pace. Breer is ok but I’m not sure he’s anything aside from football and he can get a little overexposed in long appearances. She brings a sense of humor and the ability to laugh at herself which Albert Breer has never even heard of
This is unfortunately the nature of the dying busines right now, I don't think there are any shows that have 3 full time behind the scenes between DOB, Nick, and Mike, so Beasley must have said they need to cut salary
This is probably an accurate assessment. Maybe they offered him some random desk job, knowing he would likely not want it.I'm guessing Lockhart jumped before he was pushed. He was fired once by Beasley and Rich tossed him a lifeline (whether Lockhart appreciated it or not). He was re-hired, offered a job but not the one he wanted (per the Tweet above), and probably said, "Fuck it."
P.S. Fred and Hardy are buddies with Adam-12, so this is not at all surprising.
Wow, that sucks.Looks like O’Brien was the one effectively let go. Lockhart basically left on his own accord. I would think or hope for his sake he has other offers/opportunities on the table?
That's a good analysis of Breer. Years and years ago, I didn't like him, because I found him unlikable as a person. However, I came to appreciate how well informed he is. And he's only become far more connected over the years. In the past year or two it seems like Fred has made more of a point of making Breer's first break non-football talk, and I end up not liking Breer's contributions to those conversations. The show without guests is pretty bad, both Albert and Kendra are necessary changes of pace. Breer is ok but I’m not sure he’s anything aside from football and he can get a little overexposed in long appearances.
No mention of Nick in the article. I wonder if his status has changed at all.Chad Finn published an article about the changes. After Rich left Lockhart had asked for a raise, but instead was told that he would eventually take over as lead producer on the show. When Dan O'Brien got laid off, Beasley gave Adam 12 the lead producer role, offering Lockhart a raise(one that would be a fraction of what he'd previously asked for) to stay. So, Lockhart quit.
BTW Chad's article refers to Dan O'Brien only as "O'Brien". Probably a mistake, as his Twitter doesn't show a change to a one word name.

Yeah, that should be fixed. Deleted a precious line that mentioned first names. Did the same with Lockhart.Chad Finn published an article about the changes. That's what I figured. Sorry for pointing it out, though it's funny that when talking about radio people, even producers, they so often go by some shortened or made up name.Yeah, that should be fixed. Deleted a precious line that mentioned first names. Did the same with Lockhart.
No problem at all! That's what I figured. Sorry for pointing it out, though it's funny that when talking about radio people, even producers, they so often go by some shortened or made up name.
What about me, Chad? You forgot my first AND last name in your piece. I’m insulted!Yeah, that should be fixed. Deleted a precious line that mentioned first names. Did the same with Lockhart.
Fred is definitely bummed Lockhart left. Know he advocated for him in the past with management.
I’m fine.No mention of Nick in the article. I wonder if his status has changed at all.
Also, with the amount of criticism Fred tosses towards young Nicholas, I would think he’d be on the chopping block. But Beasley decided Dan and Lockhart (in 2022) were expendable.
I think 12 sliding to EP role could be interesting, but time will tell!
I'm sure he says that but do you think if Fred really wanted Lockhart to have that job it still would have gone to Chapman?Fred is definitely bummed Lockhart left. Know he advocated for him in the past with management.
Gemelli is fine. What about me, Chad? You forgot my first AND last name in your piece. I’m insulted!
I’m fine.
Thanks for listening!
Yes. Because moving Adam over saves money for Beasley, and they’re cost-cutting all over the place. They’re paying him anyway, and now they don’t have to pay Dan.Lockhart saying he would leave if Rich stayed makes a little more sense to me now if he was looking for a way to advance. It would have been that much less likely if Rich were still around.
(He probably also didn't like Rich much)
I'm sure he says that but do you think if Fred really wanted Lockhart to have that job it still would have gone to Chapman?
Breaking news on SOSH should be the new trend.Gemelli is fine.
It’s 100% because of Fred.No Lifshatz on T&H must be because of Fred or "scheduling issues" because their stupid Saturday morning show is still on. So it obviously isn't Dan falling out of favor witht he station or anything
I haven't heard or seen anything posted about it yet. Maybe Beasley told them to be quiet about it, which is a shame. I'm just amazed Wallach is still there in the midst of all this "cost cutting".Any acknowledgment of the staff changes?
I understood Rich not having a chance to say goodbye to the show but Lockhart and Dan get nothing?
That really is a shame. At least give people a chance to say thanks after so many years.I haven't heard or seen anything posted about it yet. Maybe Beasley told them to be quiet about it, which is a shame. I'm just amazed Wallach is still there in the midst of all this "cost cutting".
I thought he held it together pretty well when Crash was on. If I remember correctly he's a pretty devout guy.I love Holley.
It was good timing too with the Hill stuff to have a black person with different views. His story of being in the car with the white guy driving mouthing off at the cop was pretty funny.Holley is a pro, and the more he does with this group the better it gets.
He has a good rapport with Hardy and Wallach - at least on air they seem to genuinely like each other and it flows well - and he slid right in and definitely held his own with the Crash segment. Even if he’s uncomfortable he can laugh along with the bit and keep it moving.
I’m already liking Adam 12’s influence, admittedly it’s almost all for the music beds coming back from commercial. The games, not so much, but at least they're having fun.
