Man Devers is a beast. And they said earlier in the broadcast that he still has lots of room to grow power-wise.

So, they show the Sox hit leaders on a crawl on the bottom of the screen and it show Vaz has 69. And I think to myself, he’s a catcher. He must not have as many at bats as the guys above him.

And then I think, maybe you could sort of normalize for that by figuring out the percentage of at bats in which he gets a hit so you could compare players.

This is a true story. Probably took me 10 seconds.

I spent a few minutes inventing the sandwich a couple months ago.

Vladito looks like my Dad running home; not necessarily the stride of an athlete.

Man, most pitchers in this organization walk way too many batters. They need to get it under control and try to get back to controlling the strike zone. Bannister, get this fixed.

The Angels La Stella just fouled a ball of his kneecap and needed to be carried off the field. Not to celebrate injuries, but this could open a spot for Xander on the All Star team.

So the Red Sox have scored 38 runs in their last 4 games. Tomorrow they put Sale on the mound to face the prolific TBD. I'm guessing a 2-1 loss.

The way Sale's season has been going, probably more like 4-1 or 5-1 but hoping for today being the start of a turnaround by Sale back to his dominant self.
