Santana has no legs. It'll take four hits to drive him in

That's too funny. He gets his second Sox win. Who would have thought that was going to happen tonight?

SUPER game at the plate by Raffy (Just not on the bases or in the field)

By the way if Bradley AND Cashner both do something big and positive in ANOTHER game this year I'll run through the Fens naked.

Raffy on pace for 57 doubles, which would be the most in MLB since 2000 (Helton 59, Delgado 57). If he gets to 60, it'll be the first time since Gehringer in 1936.

---Salem's Lot, last night's game thread.
If Sale gives us a good outing, say of at least six innings, I have a slight hope that we are in for a satisfying evening of baseball.
Geaux, Sox!
A satisfying evening for sure.
These two games would be classics if this were a playoff series.

Today, all day I had the feeling
A miracle would happen
I know now I was right
For here you are
And what was just a world is a star
Tonight!

Very true, they would be immortalized.

Seemed to me like Cashner threw every pitch below the belt. Interesting given the ongoing pitching philosophy discussion
