Basically the heart of the onboard computer. Diagnostics on it can tell pretty much anything that happened in the car since everything is microchip-controlled now. They usually won’t touch it unless someone is injured, but in those instances it will tell them in detail what you were doing.I was today years old when I learned cars had black boxes.
And why don't they make the entire car about of the black box material, amirite?
