Voted for Houston assuming the #2 seed holds, expecting at least one of KC or LA to win this week. It'd be great to be the #1, but FO only puts those odds at 1.5 percent. It's a relatively small sample size, but from Weeks 11-16, the Texans are a mere 18th in Total DVOA, at 0.3%, below that of teams like the Bucs and Jets(!) in that same timeframe.

Houston as a matchup also assures you only have to play one of the AFCW teams, plus would have to think it lends itself to the greater likelihood of Chiefs/Chargers Divisional round game. Not only do those two have to contend with one another, but also opens the door of the Pats hosting the AFCCG if the five seed were to win. Given KC's inconsistency of late, a Chargers at Pats AFCCG isn't that unreasonable of a possibility.

If that thread is showing as locked are people still able to vote?

Will they know that?

I put poll only because I didn't want to cannibalize the conversation, but wanted to see the raw numbers.

Good call, changed the thread title to reflect as much.

If you can't vote in that thread given the locking, send me a DM and I'll unlock it to fix that. Genuinely unsure with how Xenforo in particular treats this.

By not locking the thread? Still unclear why it was locked. Since it was locked 18 minutes ago, I don't think there's been a single vote.

Wouldn't be easier to simply leave that thread open with a suggestion to have the bulk of the conversation here unless people want to discuss the actual voting?

Unlocked, since locking does the same to the poll. Thanks for the noting elsewhere, all.

If you want to discuss this with posts proper, including the results, do so here.

I merged the threads but the votes from the other thread are now gone.

Voting is democratic so vote twice in the same poll!
