Bennett getting away with murder, gift timeouts, gift icings… it truly is a playoff atmosphere.
The race to ruin draft position is ALIVE! The head knows better but the heart wants what the heart wants and the heart wanted to say fuck them Panthers.
Wow, best game of the year! Felt like a playoff game...Didn't think I could despise Bennett any more than I already did, but here we are.
I mean look at this loser. Beecher is already engaged and Bennett comes over and tries to rip Beecher’s head off. Zadorov should go punch him again.

Listened to the comeback in the car and was as happy about the Bennett beatdown as I was about the GWG. I might need some further moral education.

Might just be a post-deadline bump where the pressure is off and there's been an infusion of youthful energy but that was one of if not the most entertaining hockey game they've played this year. The playoff math is still pretty grim (up to 8.5% on HockeyRef!) but if that can put that product on the ice for the remaining 16 games, I'd be happy, draft pick be damned. As I said the math is bleak but they have a meaningful hockey game Thursday in Ottawa. Just take it one at a time.

Friendly reminder the 2023 Panthers had 66 points through 63 games and were tied with 3 other teams for the 9th spot in the East, 4 points out of a playoff spot. Crazier things have happened.

Swayman will need to carry the team on his back from here on out if that were to happen. It's the least he could do given that he's largely responsible for where the team is at today.
