It's good to be a Red Sox player these days...
 
Seeing all the kids on the field, on the Duck Boats, and in videos like this further humanizes these guys and makes the connection even (B) stronger.

'Mission October' was very enjoyable - lots of behind-the-scenes footage, including Ortiz's dugout pep talk in Game 4 and a neat scene with Papi, his dad and his son D'Angelo in Fenway's indoor batting cage..  Hopefully most of this makes it onto the World Series DVD.

Have there been any video montages besides the one from the end of the ALCS on FOX?  I'm a sucker for video highlight montages, of playoff and/or regular season footage.

These are wonderful, thanks to you all. If anyone has a close-up of Koji on the duck-boat anything like as close as the one of Nava that I've stolen for my new avatar, I'd love to see it. I have looked at so many photos, but he always has his back to the camera or is only partially visible.

I was trying to find the championship memorabilia thread, but couldn't find it. Can anyone recommend a way to get this picture framed? I don't know if this changes anything, but I'm not in the Boston area.
 
Bonus points if there's already a framed montage including this, Vic Torino doing Sugah Shane things (chest pounding, doing the airplane, etc.), Lester showing off his massive huevos, and/or the Ortiz-Ue over-the-shoulder celebration.

I like the similar picture from Post # 51 in this thread .. almost the exact same moment but from a lower angle.

At http://www.learntheaddress.org they have vids of many people famous or ordinary saying the Gettysburg Address.  At the top of the page is a link for a "mashup" with different people doing different parts.  The first four are presidents, then a TV journalist, then... Shane Victorino...

I have this image of Peavy not reporting for spring training, being nowhwere to be found.  Ten years later he'll be discovered living in the duckboat which is stuck in a bog somewhere, and he'll have a crazy wild-eyed grin while carrying on an animated conversation with the cigar store Indian.

I also am curious about this.  Haven't seen anything to confirm or deny (with a few minutes of Google research).  While I prefer the 2004 WS film to Faith Rewarded, I thought Champions Again did a better job than the 2007 WS film, so I'm interested in seeing both the NESN and MLB take this year if possible.

Been a crazy day and night with Shane.  Jacoby, Clay and Mike Carp were here from the Sox.  Partied with these guys all day and night.  Jacoby and Clay have been inseparable.  Talked with Jacoby a bit about the contract.  He's just in that "whatever happens, happens" state of mind.  Will post pics tomorrow.

Still haven't seen any official word from NESN about a DVD -- wouldn't they at least want to be taking pre-orders now to cash in on holiday buying? -- but Jake Peavy's Demons passed along this link to NESN, which is soliciting fans' videos for potential use in a DVD of the season.

Anyone know if the World Series boxset comes with teh World Series film? I believe that was the case in 04/07...Ideally I'd just buy that.
