This one cracked me up and, at the same time, made me think of pics of the B's of the 70's as those guys ran the city.

Some background on Tito's appearance in the Savard jersey today:

"I do think it’s really incredible," he said. "I've been here eight years. We have great fans. I hope the fans realize [championships for each major Boston sports team since 2004] doesn’t happen all the time everywhere. It's pretty incredible."

The SI commemorative issue is out and is outstanding. I picked one up a Shaw's this morning and may have to grab a second one.

Also, they had nice plain basic "2011 Stanley Cup Champions" hats. One black and one tannish-off white. Nice simple script and the spoked B. In case you're looking for an alternative for the official NHL ones.

Bruins Tim Thomas, Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, and Shawn Thornton took a trip down to the casino following Saturday's rolling rally in Boston. The players brought the Stanley Cup with them to a party at the Foxwood's club "Shrine", where they proceeded to pour some of a $100,000 bottle of champagne into to bowl of the trophy, as Thornton (left) and Chara did above.

I know a bunch of couples that go down there with the main purpose that the girls go to the club at night and the guys sit at the tables.. generally they meet back up way later as the guys tend to come back to the room much later..
