Went back today and it updated to 6.01 and 105/11,000. To quote Peter King, "Weird".
Yeah, I'd like to know what happened. Obviously a math mistake but looking at it, I can't see how they got those figures. Like did .56% become 56%? But anyway, congrats that is a terrific score.

Starting out at #17 for the second time in the past week. Thought my bottom row would be lower, but also could have spent a little more time to come up with more obscure answers in those corners.

Anyone else a bit confused by today's categories? I'm guessing that Pitched in No Hitter/PG means playoff game? I have no clue as to what 1+HR (80%+ as pitcher) means.
PG is perfect game
The 2nd item means someone who was a pitcher 80% of the time (I assume by games played) who hit at least one homer. So Babe Ruth wouldn’t qualify, nor would position players who pitched in mop up roles.

I don't get why it lists both. If it has to be a perfect game it's a no-hitter by default. If it only has to be a no-hitter the perfect game part is needlessly confusing.

The Sticks
Was it a perfect game?
It was combined no-hitter. But it looks like they're taking no-hitters - Spencer Turnbull works.

Also, it looks like he was an Astro and not a Tiger for that game.
Shouldn't matter - Crossover usually accepts the answer as long as it satisfies both categories, even if not simultaneously. It accepts Kenny Rogers in that square, and he threw his PG with the Rangers.

I don't think they count any pitchers who pitched in a combined no-no.

The Sticks
Pitchers who pitched in no-hitters should be credited.
I mean, yes, they should get the most credit. But the category says "Pitched in no-hitter," and those words actually have meaning in English...and apparently that meaning is different in Crossover for some reason. I guess I just don't speak Crossover?

Okay, I understand and you're right. I did the game a while ago. I forgot the exact wording. But "Pitched in No-Hitter/ PG" is pretty straight-forward.

15.5
131st at the moment

I thought Brad Komminsk was a good answer, but was surprised Carlos Baerga was an even better one.

Poor category title again as it should say 100+ Win Team.

Nice job @Sad Sam Jones. My game ended soon. I put J.D. Martinez in the bottom right square. He actually won Silver Slugger awards at two positions in '18.

Congrats @edoug ! We had one square in common today

A lot of choices today. I think this is my low for Crossover. 16.7 I know I got a 10 in IG.
SoSH won't like my top left

Really liked this one, 11.08

One funny thing I found: Jason Vargas went 99-99 in his career.

This one must have been easier than I thought. I was expecting a little higher ranking with all my answers under 3% and 7 under 1%.

So topped my previous best with a 15.31. Seems like not too many players today. The web interface for CG just feels unresponsive and buggy much of the time. I had to do this in three different browsers today because
  • It wouldn't accept Roger Maris for left center today on my 1st attempt even though I knew it was the right answer
  • It said I still had one more guess to go on my 2nd attempt after I had filled all 9 squares correctly

I think the bottom row would be a lot more fun if the player had to be with the team in question when he lost the World Series (or have the 100 RBI in the same season), but that's impossible since one of the two teams has never actually lost a World Series.

43rd for now... I just didn't have the patience (or memory) to come up with a more obscure center square.

Two common categories today between IG and CG means one square could be answered the same way on both grids. Got me the exact same percentage too.

A new grid is up.
8/9, I didn't complete it but am happy with bottom row.

Got a bone to pick with today's grid. It wouldn't accept Rafael Devers for the Born in DR/100+ win square. Went with a theme on the 100+ column and they ruined it.

Tried something a little different and aimed for a “starting lineup,” I think it works:

71292
C - Johnson
1B - Guerrero
2B - Zobrist
SS- Hanley
3B - Rolen
LF - Arozarena
CF - Ellsbury
RF - Mookie
SP - Eovaldi

Got screwed a bit today because David Price opted out of the COVID season so the Dodgers World Series win doesn't count as his second ring.

Managed a 9/9 on both games today, but I think this was the better of the two. Surprised my center square didn't hurt my ranking more.

EDIT: I just checked to see how close Carlos Santana is to the 300 HR club and I missed that he just joined it over the weekend.

Fun combination of new and old players. Also nice to have that "played for 5+ teams" category, since those are such key players for the grids :) Score of 78

I got in early enough today that I'm currently ranked #1 despite not even coming up with 9 correct answers. Categories with only 3 possible answers should not be permitted... I'm never going to give an answer that I know is going to be at least 33%.
