Some real fun now between Smith an DJ. , suddenly the course is showing it can punish mistakes

Although DJ lucks out on his 4th, to avoid a potential big number

Scheffler's the oldest-looking 26 year old I've seen in a while. He looks like Jim Backus in Rebel Without A Cause

What score do we think wins tomorrow? I've got -20.
Rain expected overnight. If it's heavy it could soften the course and cut down on the exaggerated rolls. Any significant change in the weather, I would think, will favor those with more experience on the course. Anywhere between -18 and -22 seems likely

You've really nailed your colours to the mast there big man. I was gonna say the winner will be under par, but no, you've...you've really...well you've never been one for hedging your bets that's for sure.

I'm saying -20, no more no less.

-20 seems about right. That’s a 68 from Rory/Vik or 66 from the Cam’s. Don’t think anyone else has a chance.

Wind seems pretty benign right now - 4-10pm he. I think 10-15mph is forecast for later in the day. Sam Burns carded a 64 earlier today. Low scores are out there.

Thankfully DJ just misses very makeable birdie putts on 1&3, squeezed around a birdie at 2.

Don't want to see him make the run at it

Brian Harman is one of those guys who is always being shown during majors, despite being generally decent but ineffectual.

I have no idea why the producers love Harman so much. Maybe they respect the short guys.

This is the scoring stretch. If Rory/Vik remain a little flat it’ll be there for someone to catch them.
Sure but so much has to go wrong for them to stay flat. There are so many holes where par is a major disappointment coming up

56 yard from the middle of the fairway. Huge up and down and then up again, and Rory putts it

He leaves the birdie putt just short. Is that a 3 putt, when your first putt comes 45 yards out in the fairway?

I think that was his only chance to get it close. If he carried a wedge to that shelf it’d hop all the way back to where Hovlands ball was.

That was an example of the beauty of this Old Course. There were a variety of different ways to play that shot, none of them easy.
