Thank you for a very insightful interview, Cuz.  Good work.

I enjoyed the discussion about contrast between the GCL, where they're lucky to have dozen fans in the stands, to playing at Lowell that always has an energized, packed house.

Well done. You can sense his excitement. Fun to get Kemp's perspective on all of it including some of his team mates.

My nephew is a college junior who will be drafted again after the upcoming season.  Good insight into a young players view.

Thanks for the good work on this Cuzittt!

Cuz has been busy this week. Check out the Misadventures of Media Magee, detailing the first game he had credentials for.

After brief discussions with the Lowell Spinners, I was informed that they could not help me with this particular request, I would need to talk with the Tigers. I thanked them for their help, and sent a request to the Connecticut Tigers. A few minutes after starting the process, I received an e-mail. A press pass would be waiting for me at the Will Call window. I was now a member of the press corps! And my heart started beating fast, too fast… I know how to write. I know how to research. But I don’t have the faintest idea how to be a member of the press corps. What have I done?

Cuz has the details from his second day on the beat in part 2 of the Misadventures of Media Magee.

I arrive in the Dodd Stadium parking lot, bound and determined to get an interview. With someone, anyone. I am here early enough, some five hours before game time. I walk into the concourse, look down on the field and see… no one. The hub of activity has yet to start buzzing. Are the players even here yet? The first day I’m too late, the second day too early? When will I be just on time? It’s ridiculously hot in the stadium, so I decide to go back to the car and wait for signs of life.
