Is there a way to find out if Slater even gets snaps as a receiver anymore? I know he plays special teams but can't see if he even gets any offensive snaps?
I have this dream where before week 18 Slater announces his retirement. Then with the Pats up big; BB puts him in for 1 play and he catches TD from Jones.
Reiss had him with 3 offensive snaps (probably kneel downs).

I'm giving out a game ball to David Andrews.

He comes back to the team on a 4-year deal when I thought for sure he was gone, plays pretty much every snap, and holds down the fort with linemates rotating around him like the revolving doors at Macy's.

Probably the player I appreciate the most on the offensive side of the ball.

Josh McDaniels.

He’s doing play-action out of the gun AND used an RPO. He’s finally adjusting and adding things Mac is really good at running that aren’t traditional Patriots staples.

You guys mentioned a lot of them but the OL and Jakob Johnson had a hell of a day. That stiff-arm was sweet.

Someone had a Twitter post with 3-4 pancakes by Johnson, but I can't find it

Not sure where best to put this, but the Pats are up to 13th in DVOA after the Jets game.

FWIW, the Chargers are 17th. DVOA isn't predictive, but DVOA doesn't think this is some massive mismatch on paper.

Chargers point differential is not impressive, either. I haven't seen them, so no idea what that means, but there are reasons to believe the Pats can win it.

In a way the Chargers are the anti-Pats in that a blowout loss is skewing all of their team stats, while the Jets game catapulted the Patriots to the top half of the league on a lot of them.

Both teams are different and better than last year, but the Pats did lay a 45-0 ass kicking on them last year, on the road.

most of that is getting smoked by 28 by BAL before they bye, outside that they were 4-1 with a +26, wins over CLE, KC, LV, WAS and a close loss to DAL.

BB himself even called out Johnson’s stiff arm in his remarks to the team, fun stuff.
